Do You Have a Color Trick?
It's not Green Acres around here, but we are enjoying the gardening.
This Peony bush was here when we bought the house in 1983 and it still thrives on neglect.
Our little tree is about 4 years old. It was a give away at our local street fair and it took off in the garden..
I love the color of evergreen new growth. It is about as big as the ferns now.
I never know exactly how things will take off in our garden.
Or in my Yarn Garden:
Below you have the Lorna's Laces Arlington wound together with a skien of gold/orange koigu.
I thought it would be a perfect combo for my 3rd Trap.

Well, I was sorely disappointed after just a few rows.
Would you have guessed it would not be very flattering.?
So I dug around my stash and found some Leftover sock yarn in light green and I like this effect much better.
Which one do you like?
What tricks to do use to make colors behave together before you buy the yarn?
