This is the hooded cardigan on the cover of the Book. Al says it is easy and the directions are straight forward. The errata is clearly inserted when you buy the book. She would have preferred that there was a chart. Who's child is she? Prefers a chart....She is knitting with ARAUCANIA nature wool in this brownie like color. There is a bit of colorchange to the yarn. Imagine, the edges of the brownie are dark and the middle is that lighter less cooked color. In an effort to play nice, I am not sharing any images of the 17 year phenomenon here in my town. Who's idea was this? In an effort to follow another blogge's suggestion, I joined the upside down sock image post. This was not an easy task. I found it difficult to lie on my back with the Hungarian legs elevated enough to get the socks in frame. I am not Gumby. I am not Pokey. Socks are fun trekking yarn. So much fun they do not match. Making them match would not have been fun. I had a KNOT in the yarn somewhere, but I admit that would not have caused this much descepancy. I forget how this happened. Thats the joy of socks for Me. KnitswithasilentK.blogspot.com has posted a tutorial on special effects blogging. I cannot wait to see if this worked. Seems too easy.

I've finally found a place to put the cell phones........ hello? hello? can you hear me now? Now, second photo: This is a purse. Faithful readers may recall when this was not a purse. It went to my LYS to have a zipper added. Now it is a purse. Now I have 20 less dollars. It was a stash purse modeled after a hobo bag pattern. I think it was a Vogue purse book. The purse is a tube. The zipper is placed perpendicular to the bottom. It folds up so cute. Imagine it..... can you? Did I splain this sufficiently?

This was not an easy shot, friends. The public golfcourse around here, fondly known as THE WEED, has some rangers who, well, to put it kindly, take their job so seriously I was more nervous about getting this shot than any other guest blog shot in my short history of blogging. Are rangers like this everywhere? There's a place for this type of employee but it is in a sqaud car not a golfcart. To borrow some lyrics : No one mourns the Wicked no one cries they wont return no one lays a lily on their grave. So it was with true trepidation that I approached the foursome and asked for the blog photo. One of the foursome, THANK GOD, wasn't having any of it, from the starter, and they quickly and kindly complied. This is Al in her Nashua top. She says it is from Nashua Book #4. The color is a green(really Kathy B? we didnt' notice) in Ecology Cotton. Al was inspired by a Nashua company knit of the same, that hangs in my LYS. This is day number 4 of not being a Cub fan. Friends at work fear I'll fall off the wagon... as SO many do- but so far I'm steadfast. My neighbor Mary was in NY and bought me a sweet Yankee cap to encourage me. Yes, this is neighbor Mary who modeled the crochet shawl a ways back. Their family loves the White Sox, hence the show of support. All I can say to Donna Boucher, is Apollo Anton Ono all the way!
