My Como Top

I do love the finish.
The yarn is black but almost takes on the purple of my tank t underneath.

The Details:

Como The Big Easy Book
Debbie Bliss
Tank Top
p. 48

Quite possibly the easiest garment I've ever knitted in terms of pattern and construction.
The Front is the same as the Back.

I made the largest size using a chunky weight  of
yarn in my stash.  I got gauge and got on with it.

I used a cotton so it is so comfy.

The shoulder and neck shaping are clever and simple.

I'll make another, but for today I'll just enjoy wearing this one.

Kathy, that is a wonderful picture of you. And I love the Como top. It really does look deep purple...and that's pretty neat. You did a great job! Now I want to get back to my tank top and finish it!! I've let it go for nearly a month!!

I love the tank--great knit! I'm always excited when I get to knit with cotton, Blue Skies Skinny Cotton being my favorite.

Looks great! And kudos to you for conquering the black yarn; it's really hard to see, I think. What color will you do next?
