July 16th….A Whine and a Smile

I'm giving you a collage today. Thank you free Picmonkey site.

I want those pilazzo pants. (and the top she has on as well) This is Channon's doing.  Perhaps in my 54th year I'll dress myself a bit better.  It's time….

Fireman took the image of me at the Chicago Botanic Gardens last week.  I'm hiding my whole body.  Time to whine: the pedometer works only if I do the walking.  There are very few fruits I like. Watermelon is one of them.  I am going on the watermelon snack a roo diet that I just made up.  All snacks equal watermelon today.

The inches and inches of black knitting is the start of my new Como Tank top.   Oh Trap I miss you, but I want this tank too.

So there you have it.  Three little pictures …..and a whine.  YOu can whine to me in the comments….I'm all ears…. and I don't' mind a bit today.

I only like watermelon and grapes, that about it, oh and cantaloupe. I try to get my steps but it's a challenge!!

A botanical garden walk... watermelon... a knitted tank top project...and eyes set on a new pant and top... all sounds good. And your collage picture is just the ticket. Cute! No whining today...
I love pilazzo pants too - but not watermelon - I wish strawberry season lasted longer.

Hope you're enjoying your "watermelon day", as well as dreaming about the pilazzo pants and top, and actually knitting on the tank top.

Yum, watermelon! Nothing to whine about there, but I will make one little whine sound since you invited it. I had forgotten how l-o-o-o-n-g each row of a side-to-side shawl can seem. Last night I spent the whole evening knitting one row of the easy-peasy shawl. Well, it seemed like all evening. Thanks Kathy, I feel so much better.

Watermelon is THE best snack, but I rarely manage to pick out a good one in the store.

While some may be whining about the cooler temps right now, I love these cool summer days! The blinds are up, the windows open, and the breeze is gently billowing the curtains. Ahh, summer bliss!

I like your collage! I have been wanting to cast on for a tank all summer! Yours is going to be great! If I cast on by the end of summer, I'll be happy :)

Great idea to make a black tank as cat hair won't show on it, but you are brave. I think black is hard to knit. No whining from me; we're headed to CO soon.

It's funny, but I've noticed that the bicycle doesn't work unless I ride it! And I was so sure I'd lose 10 pounds this summer. So far, I'm not doing so well with that!

I'll whine a bit today ----- I ATE too much and now I have indigestion! :-( Some watermelon sure would help.

My aunt's farm is Como. I want to make the top for that reason alone.

You're beautiful, sweets. Love that body that takes you through the gardens, and be patient with yourself as you make increased activity the new norm. I'm pretty sure you've already made enough progress that you deserve a new outfit that makes you feel as lovely as we all know you are.

I love those pants, too. But they would look ridiculous on me. Hope they found the little lost puppy, so sweet. I am not sleeping well, there that is my whine for today.
