It's a Wrap…Pun Intended
My first Cobweb shawl is off the needles.
It is wet and being blocked right now.
*Loved the pattern.
*Loved the simplicity and ability to watch TV and knit it up.
*I made index cards to follow the rows -
*Loved the cast off: you use a crochet hook and create the edge by crocheting instead of binding off in the traditional fashion.
It is very easy if you know the basics of crocheting.
*There is another edging option that I may use on the next shawl.
*Potato chip knitting again? Yup. See the Madelintosh Prairie in Baltic colorway.
*This time I will use a bigger needle to get the desired effect.
I knit the first on the suggested 9's but I'll go up a few ….this time
That's a wrap...

Ok, I am a 'Tosh ho...so I am in love with your lovely skein of yarn! :)
Happy Knitting.
Ellen,
I do plan the same pattern with the Baltic yarn color :)
I think I have more than enough yardage.
TO crochet the edge you just chain 6, then pull off 4 stitches from your live needle and chain 1 though all four stitches. You repeat across.
Very fun
