It's a Bear

I think working out is a Bear…..
I don't look forward to it.
I love when it is over.
I usually go on our elliptical machine with my headphones on, and push through.

For all the time I sit knitting I have to do some workouts to balance my day.
I rarely workout they days I go to work.
I should though…

Here are some of my workout songs:
Please suggest others!

*Queen Bicycle Race
*Queen Fat Bottomed Girls
*Call Me Maybe
*Lumineers: Ho Hey
*F.U.N. Some Nights
*Rhianna Mr. DJ
*Lady Gaga Applause
*Neon Trees: Everybody Talks
*Talking Heads: Burning Down the House

You need some Flo Rida, CeeLO, and Robin Thicke in there. That'll get ya movin'! LOL

I hate working out too, but after I'm done ... I feel like I could conquer ANYTHING!

I hate to admit it but my workout songs are from a whole other generation! (I Heard It Through The Grapevine, Light My Fire, California Dreaming). It also occurs to me that my songs are moving at a much slower pace than yours!

I'm in my 60s now, and I never have been able to stick to an exercise regime. this winter has been a rough one for me-too cold to walk, and I have been sitting way too much, and I have gained a little weight-that is unacceptable to me.
so I jumped on my norkic trak ski machine-that I have had for ages and ages and started to do that this morning-
physical exercise is so important too even more so as we get older I think, I find myself in allot more pain now from sewing or anything I am doing-I have never used music I just do it
I do not enjoy working out either - but I applaud your effort - and your choice of Queen in your playlist!

I am in the worst shape of my life tight now, but little one prevents me for getting anything done!

Now that the outdoor rinks are closed for the season, I need to find a way to keep in shape. Walking the teeny tiny pup with the short little legs isn't going to cut it. When I do work out at home, I work out to soundtracks of movies and plays. Weird, but The Pirates of the Caribbean, Wicked and anything by Danny Elfman really get me moving. As for rock, Cirque du Soleil's Beatles CD, Love, is my fave....but then again, I am an ancient Hippie.

My primary workout is Zumba so there's always lots of fun music for that. But when I walk/run by myself I like to have a little music to push me through. I'm a top 40 junkie for that though. I try to put one "warm-down" song to encourage stretching, since I just want to be done like most people. I really like the song, "I See Fire" by Ed Sheeran (from The Hobbit/Desolation of Smaug soundtrack). The remix by Kygo is good too!

Just keep going. It's a pain in the ass, but we have to do our maintenance and I'm with Dee, I always feel SO good afterwards. I have a hard time doing the things that aren't fun like upper body strength and things that require abdominal work, like groan ... crunches. i want to vomit, just typing the word.

Haha! I love Call Me Maybe! That's Dan and my favorite song. One Direction's "Counting Stars" is good, it really has a great beat for running.
