The first thing:

Crazyknittinglady.wordpress.com has an interesting explanation of changing guage with the same number of stitches by changing needle sizes. Have you knit anything this way?

Second thing:
I'm glad I dont post the blogs I read, because it seems many knit blogs have been unraveled......
Have you been reading anyone new lately?

( I wont mention the Cubs embarassment yesterday,)

( I won't tell you that I accidentally clocked a man on my first try with a chuck it at the dog Park)

(I wont tell you about how Cricket doesn't understand that he can poop in his new fenced yard....suffice to say I'm having a party when he finally does)

And (I won't tell you how I knit an entire sock and ripped it all out during the toe finish last Saturday!)

I always knit that way----I just start 2 needle sizes smaller and sure enough usually get the gauge

I noticed very few folks comment on my blog anymore, so something is going on!

I have begun to have a feel for what needle size I should use to get gauge based on previous projects. I hadn't really noticed unraveled blogs, but that might be because I read waaaaaaay to many so I always have a backlog.

Two of my favorite knitting blogs to read are Mr. Puffy's blog at: http://theknittingblogbymrpuffythedog.blogspot.com/ and Sailing Knitter at http://www.sailingknitter.blogspot.com/. Both post sporadically but are worth the effort to check on for new posts.

About changing needles--I always do that at the hip of sweaters to accomodate my spreading bottom.

Have you put some of Crickets poop in the back yard to "entice" him?

not about knitting but if cricket has not yet pooped in his yard pick up the poop where ever he does and put in his yard scent will give him the idea and if you put it in a far away spot he will usally always retun there instead of pooping all over the yard good luck

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. When I shoot photos of the moon I think of Dear Teresa.  Gone too soon. She took fabulous moon pictures.  2. I'm Making Bunny Rabbits

  These are the one square bunnies .  They are a free pattern on Rave1ry.  I'm bunny making to force spring to come.  I'm a1so taking it easy on my hands again.  The med we tried did keep my hands from shaking, but it was a med for a med. and that's crazy town.  I can contro1 a hook much better than need1es.  It wi11 have to suffice for now.  I'm enjoying your b1ogs and your Spring.  This time of year I so want to 1ive in a southern state.  But this Spring is a new one for me and I'm going to find a way to 1ove it.   IT may have just gotten to 50.   Degrees.  I have to run.  There's very ear1y yardwork to do.   The birds have 1eft a rotten mess of sunf1ower she11s under the feeders.  I hope it is not frozen!  Have you been switching things up in your neck of the woods?   I haven't forgotten you, b1og pa1s.  I 1ove seeing you on Instagram .

Do You Smile When You Knit???

I am pretty sure I smile when I knit.  I'm going to think about that today when I pick up the baby blanket in progress.  I am also pretty sure I cry when I knit; well, not really.  I have shed some tears over the years but they were way back.  I surely scowl when I drop a stitch.   A time lapse of knitters' faces would be interesting enough .... Tank, aka Helo, is starting to smile around here.  Just look into those aqua eyes......they make me smile all the time. He is half Siamese and all gorgeous.
