There are somethings that can be knit, that Fireman doesn't need to know about. He would have me knitting these covers non -stop until all the legs in this house were covered..........

good thing he doesn't read this blog much. Much less ever leave a comment. HA!

What an incredible idea! Why didn't I think of that after we put in the hardwood floor and had to buy gliders to put under the furniture????? You should copyright that idea/pattern!

Believe me, I've been tempted to knit some socks for my chair legs. I have felt pads, but they have a tendency to move after a while. Scratches on the floor are not good. :o(

I love it! I would even put them on Macy (and Max) because our hard wood floors take a beating from furniture and dogs!

OK so I don't get it. Why did you knit them in the first place? Am I just being dense here?

If Fireman wants them, let him knit them and then you can take them off and say the dog ate them or something like that.

I live in an older house (1920"s) which has lovely chestnut trim and hardwood floors downstairs (and pine upstairs). When we bought the house many years ago, we were the second owners and they had never had any sort of coating (varnish, shellac, polyurethane) on the floors so we never did. Hey - they've lasted more than 80 years, I figure I don't have to make my furniture wear socks in the house, especially since they don't do much walking around.

I'm exhausted and punchy. Goodnight.

crap now i'm really pissed i should have thought of these it would have saved my kitchen floor i've tried everthing but nothing seemed to last now i have to knit these unless kathy does them for me instead of fireman i need 24 of them thank you love you

Okay if you are confused. It is just a joke. There is no way I'd make those. Fireman knew I was joking and I'd never do it. I found them interesting so I posted them.

Not a problem, dear; I've got The Stupids once again. I spend far too much time trying to figure out things that should be obvious.

OMG - those are fabulous. BF would love those if he saw them. Maybe I'll knit up hundreds of them for every chair, leg, table, etc in the house. He might actually like it. It really is a brilliant idea. Teehee.

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. Insufficient Information

Dear buddy nurse and spay neuter pal Linda, came to visit yesterday.  We knitted. We laughed.  We shared books we are reading. She Showed me her scarf.  It looks like a shawl but it is a scarf. Here is her yarn choice. And the( OUCH) price.   It makes her happy to knit.  If Linda's happy I'm happy.  I dont' know the pattern and neither does she.  Her dog literally shredded her pattern.  She was at a point where she had memorized the easy part and she's nearly finished.  So there you go, anyone know the pattern? You are all so sweet about the move and the house.
