Whirlwind Weekend.....Knitting TOO
Fireman was so good to drive to Joliet so we could rescue a cat that was high on the euthanasia list. We had never done transport for the shelter.
Wow.
We pulled in and their were all kinds of good people waiting for the dogs and cats to arrive for shelters.
This gorgeous yellow tree was showing off while we waited.
You are all such animal lovers. Hard to believe this little dog was on the chopping block a few hours ago.
The cat we transported was sweet and young and beautiful.

I'm going to pay special attention to him AND Pippa at the shelter.
I bet he gets adopted very quickly.
So there was ample car knitting time.
I worked on the baby blanket because I want to concentrate and keep going well on the slipper pattern.
We rested a bit and then drove the opposite direction to Milwaukee.
Fireman wanted to see Little Big Town.

Oh and we had time to watch the Cubs WIN a game yesterday.

We were home all weekend, but we had an eventful Thursday --- we went to the opening night at the Tampa Bay Lightning. (Pictures are on Facebook.)
Mine was packed: art opening, party, knitting class, bike ride, movie.
