Do's and Don'ts

These COCO knit knotted slippers are keeping me very knit happy.
The pattern is genius.
I'm going into 3 Bags for help with just the last part.
I want to get the knot right.

Miss Pie says hi.
And no she is not sitting on the kitchen counter.

Dear Kim of Handeye blog sent me this sturdy Revival Yarns
knit bag.  She also sent a "i'd rather be on the porch" button.
Perfect?  you Betcha.

I have  a few Monday tips for y'all

*Don't put the effort into Cinnamon Pecan Weight watcher bread.
Not moist. Not delicious

*Do get a Friskie's PUll n play toy for your feline.
Finally a toy cats like that has treats.
Fezzik Loves the edible string feature.

*Do roast raw carrots, cauliflower and onions with a drizzle of honey and oil.

*Don't expect the mail today...It's Columbus Day

*Do make notes about what worked in your garden this year.
You can put it in your blog, your phone notes or your paper calendar.
Because Spring's a long way off here...
and I often forget my garden thoughts after a long winter's nap.

Pie is totally not sitting out the counter... she is clearly crouching!

I'm glad kittie isn't on the kitchen counter.. my cat used to love to leap up on ours and I would yell and yell at her to get down. She's been gone over a year and I'm still finding her hair here and there. Can't wait to see your slippers done. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

I always get tricked up by no mail on Columbus Day even though The Mister was a mail carrier for 37 years. He was off and I wasn't as schools are open and I still always looked in the mailbox and was surprised about no mail. Still do.

Those slippers look interesting and challenging. Can't wait to see them. Thanks for all the tips! Hubby asked me earlier today if it was a holiday and I wasn't sure if it was Columbus Day today or not!

Those slippers are ingenious. I trust you got the help you needed? Coco Knits has brilliant patterns; they and Berroco are my favorite brands.

And I've been wondering about the Pull-n-Play treats. Thanks for the review!

I looked for one of those cat toys. They had TWO standing displays at PetSMART and both were completely sold out. Apparently those are very popular! LOL

Yes .............I DID look for mail today. The empty box reminded me it was a federal holiday! LOL

I love the slippers. Great color! Your idea about keeping notes on the garden this year is a good one except that my garden didn't react at all the way it has in the past. Tried and true veggies didn't take this year and I had 5 ft. high Rosemary, which I always had problems with in the past. Next year I'm guessing nothing will be the same. I did, however, like the planting layout this year and will sketch it so I can follow it again next year. Thanks for the idea!
