Rolling Right Along...

This Trap is now frogged.  The blend of grey with the self striping yarn interfered with the effect.  So, deep breath, I'm casting on something else with the Liberty Wool.
I think it will make a pretty sea mans' scarf.
Lesson learned: don't mix a self striping yarn with a solid in the same color as one of the stripes.
My toes were cold, so I knit myself a pair of slippers.
Granny style ...so simple.
Dear Katherine send me thick n chunky birthday yarn.
Its so soft and warm to wear on my feet.
May make another pair and felt them....
Uncle Tank .....just because..
Happy Tuesday !

Oh...you frogged the Trap??? Well, you have to be happy with the color combinations, or it doesn't become a favorite to wear. I bet the slippers are welcomed as the weather cools! And the picture of Tank is sooooo handsome!

I can't believe you frogged the Trap! I loved the colors, but you are the Trap expert so I support and endorse all your Trapping decisions, ha!

I love that picture of Mr. Tank. gorgeous.

bummer about the frogging but if you weren't happy well, it just would never be worn. Right?

Some yarn is finicky and wants to become a specific project, so frogging was probably a good idea.

That's a great photo of Tank. His eyes are very expressive!

Sometimes you just HAVE to frog. Better things will come for that yarn.

Uncle Tank is amazingly handsome.

I've done that before with the stripes being too close in color. In fact, I've done that a couple of time. Nothing makes me feel cozier than handknit slippers. I need to go find mine. Tank is a heart breaker. What a face!

Oh no, those rascal frogs! They've been buggin' me, too. Love your slippers! Have you seen the pocketbook ones? They are a fun knit. Tank is a nice looking cat! I think Mocha and Ginger would approve. LOL

Bye-Bye trap, I see your reasoning in the frogging episode. Hugs,

Hi Kathy!
Sometimes frogging is hard to do but necessary. I cast on way too many stitches yesterday with some stunning Alpaca boucle yarn by Drops. Turned out that frogging that yarn is a nightmare! But I did it and started anew. Afterwards I was annoyed with myself for wasting time and yarn. But it is all part of learning!
