The Chair Share ....

You are going to see a lot of green around here while I knit the vest.
I had the weekend off !!! and so I was able to knit quite a bit.
This is the back and I have to start thinking about arm holes soon.
As simple as the pattern I'm creating is, I still must use stitch markers to remind me of simple changes or I goof up.
I've noticed:
-Knitting in the round hurts my hands/wrists in this weight.
Knitting back and forth: No problems :)

Remix is not one bit splitty :)

I've also noticed the
here at Irisheyes.
Uncle Tank is so good with Pie.
The colder the house gets, the
more the cats cuddle.....

Happy Monday.

Great progress on your vest.

Interesting how knitting in the round bothers your hands more than straight knitting. Do you hold the needles tighter when you knit in the round?

Sweet photo of Tank and Pie.

Very nice cabling!

That is odd that knitting in the round would hurt you. Usually, knitting flat does that.

I have been sick with worry over my outside kitties since we had this early cold spell. Heated huts or not, I hate that they would rather be out than curled up in a nice warm chair. I hardly slept a wink last night thinking about them out there in 20 degree weather. I am wondering how they will handle snow. We haven't really seen any since they showed up a few years ago.

Love the vest. You did make a lot of progress!

It looks like your vest is going to be quite warm. Very pretty so far.

The vest is coming along beautifully! The cats are so cute cuddled up together. They remind me of Macy and Max curled up in a chair together. It was 41° here today and they spent the day in a chair with an afghan.

Nice vest in the making, Kathy! Your cats are much better behaved than ours; they won't share anything no matter what. Their favorite warm spot is the registers, separate ones!

Lovely vest so far. Can't wait to see the finished product. I'm still struggling with the seaming of mom's sweater which I promised her I would finish before it got cold enough to wear. Another broken promise to add to the list, I'm afraid. Cuddling cats are a fine thing, aren't they?

The vest is lovely and coming along nicely, but that chair share steals the show!
