I moved my blog to  a new name and site: Compassionknit.wordpress.com I had several days of issues with Blogger and no professional to turn to.  I have been on blogger and loved it for 12 years as Irisheyes. I feared the blog was gone.  I couldnt post, couldnt leave comments for you and I became acutely aware of how much you all mean to me.  My dear son was up with me late into the night from Mexico trying to help me.  That alone was so sweet, it was a silver lining.  I had no idea what I"D done to get shut down.  I kept getting a URL not found whenever I tried to use blogger, or go to your blogspot blogs.  I spent all day yesterday with computer folk to try to get it back.  This morning, after 3 days of angst, I'm can get on blogger again, but I think its too late.  I've made the move to Wordpress and alerted everyone I could.  So Join me there folks!   Compassionknit.wordpress.com Some of you found me like KayT and I almost cried at

All the baby blankets !

The light was good in my room yesterday so I just laid them all out. We had enough for a queen size blanket and more! I hope you see your blanket in the images. They were all so soft. Two quilts were included! One quilt was made by a 14 year old girl. He first quilt and she sent it in! These will be getting to our unit this week. Know that they will be used and appreciated. Every Once in a While I Might Post

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. When I shoot photos of the moon I think of Dear Teresa.  Gone too soon. She took fabulous moon pictures.  2. I did not see one shooting star last night.  I only got up for a few moments around 3 a.m.  The local weather guy said he saw a few quick faint ones.   3. How can I can have one grown child in Oklahoma under flood watch, and One Child in Mexico under hurricane watch?  On the same day.  Tis true.  4. What have I knitted lately?  I am pretty sure I've ripped more than I've knit.  I ripped out a shawl that I was making up.  It was cotton and pretty.  I need to follow a pattern.  5. I was trying to make socks and decided to make mittens instead.  I haven't worked a thumb in a long time.  I may have to frog it too.  So I have been knitting, but not making things.  6.
