I've MOVED my BLOG ....

I moved my blog to 
a new name and site:

Compassionknit.wordpress.com

I had several days of issues with Blogger and no professional to turn to. 
I have been on blogger and loved it for 12 years as Irisheyes.
I feared the blog was gone. 
I couldnt post, couldnt leave comments for you and I became acutely aware of how much you all mean to me. 

My dear son was up with me late into the night from Mexico trying to help me.  That alone was so sweet, it was a silver lining. 
I had no idea what I"D done to get shut down. 
I kept getting a URL not found whenever I tried to use blogger, or go to your blogspot blogs.  I spent all day yesterday with computer folk to try to get it back. 

This morning, after 3 days of angst, I'm can get on blogger again, but I think its too late. 
I've made the move to Wordpress and alerted everyone I could. 
So Join me there folks!

Some of you found me like KayT and I almost cried at her comment. 
I was worried I'd lose the lurkers, because I get the sense there are a few who just don't feel comfortable with comments but we still connect. 

Thank you for being the caring group I found 14 years ago in cyberspace.  Let's head over to the new site.

I had that happen to me with Blogger a few years ago and it was scary. You don't realize how much all this silly stuff means to you until it's gone. I had a blog for the year leading up to Daughters wedding documenting the journey called Mother of the Bridezilla. I was so afraid I'd lose it that I had it printed and bound in book form.

Thanks for the update! I haven't blogged for a couple of weeks and when I signed on tonight the Blogger platform had changed. Probably a good thing I missed the changeover.

I will diligently add your new site to my blogroll. Is it snowing for you guys tonight? :)

Every Once in a While I Might Post

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. When I shoot photos of the moon I think of Dear Teresa.  Gone too soon. She took fabulous moon pictures.  2. I did not see one shooting star last night.  I only got up for a few moments around 3 a.m.  The local weather guy said he saw a few quick faint ones.   3. How can I can have one grown child in Oklahoma under flood watch, and One Child in Mexico under hurricane watch?  On the same day.  Tis true.  4. What have I knitted lately?  I am pretty sure I've ripped more than I've knit.  I ripped out a shawl that I was making up.  It was cotton and pretty.  I need to follow a pattern.  5. Dear buddy nurse and spay neuter pal Linda, came to visit yesterday.  We knitted. We laughed.  We shared books we are reading. She Showed me her scarf.  It looks like a shawl but it is a scarf. Here is her yarn choice. And the( OUCH) price.   It makes her happy to knit.  If Linda's happy I'm happy.  I dont' know the pattern and neither does she.  Her dog literally shredded her pattern.  She was at a point where she had memorized the easy part and she's nearly finished.  So there you go, anyone know the pattern? You are all so sweet about the move and the house.
