Saturday Apple Recipe

Allison and I had a little British Bake Off yesterday.  You should have seen the kitchen!

This was my choice of recipe.  Easy.   I whipped 5 egg whites to a froth and then the rest was easy.

It doesnt' have a great SPONGE, but it is delicious!

:) Happy Saturday .  Enjoy the fullish moon.

I haven't baked treats in ages. I need to get the recipes book out and mix some of my favorites.

MMMm.
My Mom just gave me a load of local apples, I was thinking of making an apple crisp tomorrow.

Your dessert looks delish.. my mom used to make a fresh apple cake full of spices.. the house smelled so good while it baked. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

That looks so good. I love baking with apples in the fall but since it's just the two of us and we don't need it, I rarely bake from scratch. I can almost smell this picture!
Blessings,
Betsy

Apple butter sounds so interesting. I wish TJ's had a tasting table for the different butters out there. My tween had soy butter at Science Camp this past spring and loved it.
