Moving RIght Along

This mouse rainbow is too dang cute.
It makes me smile.

We are not quite packed up to move yet, but more and more I think of Granny.

A really wonderful part of the knit blog community is knowing that you are all moving with me, efforlessly.
I don't know any other time in history when this sort of thing was possible.
Technology advances are pretty incredible sometimes.

It is almost August.
What was a favorite day in July for you?
My favorite was finding our new house.

My favorite day in July was the 1st. That is the day Steve retired from 32 years with a major defense contractor.

Just yesterday TWO friends said -------wow! The stress is gone. You look totally different!

My favorite day was when I got to have lunch with daughter Bethany last week. She is teaching a nursing class and working her regular shifts as well so it had been two weeks since I had seen her. The whole month of July has been pretty great! We are low key at work and having lots of time off this summer.

You are in my thoughts and prayers as you continue your packing to move. I know it is hard work but lots of fun too.

I hope you're happier about moving than Granny seems to be in that picture!

Hmmm, I guess my favorite was oinking at my mum's for my dad and getting to visit with my youngest aunt and uncle, seeing my cousin who I haven't seen for a year, and my other, older cousin. My little nephew was even in a good mood and walked about the house.

It's not awful, Kathy. If you don't wanna KAL then that's your prerogative. A KAL for me is just a naughty excuse to cast something else on. Like I don't have enough on my plate.

Just the thought of moving all of our stuff gives me a case of the hives! Ha! Love that mouse wreath. I would love to make you some dishcloths for your new kitchen if you would like some. Just email me your address to queenbetsy2@gmail.com. Stay cool and thank you for your sweet thoughts.
Blessings,
Betsy

I can't wait to see your new place!
My favorite day in July was the newest Grand's first birthday. They grow up so fast.
Good luck with your move! So exciting! My favorite day was the 4th of July watching the fireworks with my daughter, granddaughters and son-in-law for the first time in years. So happy to be living so close to them again!

Your photo made me laugh! EXCELLENT and I can totally relate! Hahahahaha! Best moment of July for me was this last week... our nation nominating a woman for president is something I thought would never happen!

That rainbow mouse wreath is so fun-love it!
My best day in July was taking a boat ride with my husband last week and then eating ice cream with two grands!
