I only have one made.  I didnt like using doubled strands but had to.

2. Cabana boy, would you please bring me a tall, cold glass of sweet tea. Why yes, that is the same thing I ordered last week, and the week before.
3. Sweet knitter, will you please finish my doubled blanket? I am so bored with it but I can't quit because I have too much yarn invested in it! What? You're going to frog it for me? Hmmmmm....
4. My summer nails are short and oval (as opposed to squared), unpolished but with clear laquer.

Yummy hand-dyed sock yarn – any color will do…it will be a surprise.

It has been soooooooooo hot, I think a frozen margarita…or a mojito.

The frustrations of setting up my swift and ball winder…only one table in the house where they fit and it always takes me several tries to get the yarn threading properly onto the winder.

I’m a nail biter, so short an unpolished for me. The only time they are done is if I have an event to go to and I go get acrylics put on.

1. My stash enhancement would be smooshy in fingering weight and have some pops of speckled neon.
2. Young man, bring me that mojito pls.
3. Knitting is my yoga.
4. Pls finish my dishcloth.
5. Ever since I took piano lessons in high school, short finger nails are a must; long ones bug me. Since we bought a house, I've been doing my own nails to save money. I used to get a pedicure every 2-3 weeks. I don't paint my fingernails b/c the polish never stays on.

4. My White Pine Cardi. It's year three for it. All I need to do is the front band nonsense.
5. Short, unpolished because of guitar practice. I just took off my toe polish too and it was an ordeal. What do they make that stuff out of these days that it WON'T come off.

Thank you Kathy for the sweet comments. I'm lucky to have two fabulous parents who have always watched out for me my whole life. I like how Uncle Tank is mean muggin' the camera. He's tough.

1. Yarn in the mail? Just a couple skeins of gray cashmere for a shawl.
2. I'll have a dirt martini on the rocks with some extra stuffed olives on the side.
3. No projects to finish, so join me in a drink. Just tell the cabana boy your preference.

Dear buddy nurse and spay neuter pal Linda, came to visit yesterday.  We knitted. We laughed.  We shared books we are reading. She Showed me her scarf.  It looks like a shawl but it is a scarf. Here is her yarn choice. And the( OUCH) price.   It makes her happy to knit.  If Linda's happy I'm happy.  I dont' know the pattern and neither does she.  Her dog literally shredded her pattern.  She was at a point where she had memorized the easy part and she's nearly finished.  So there you go, anyone know the pattern? You are all so sweet about the move and the house. This morning I got my cuppa joe and headed to the porch to write you.  In the distance, my nearest neighbor, whom I can see through some trees.... well one of their teens came out, stretched, peed on their lawn casually, and then laid in his hammock for 5 minutes.  I'm sure he's not the first boy to do this.  I'm not even sure he's their boy.  Insufficient inf

Every Once in a While I Might Post

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. When I shoot photos of the moon I think of Dear Teresa.  Gone too soon. She took fabulous moon pictures.  2. I did not see one shooting star last night.  I only got up for a few moments around 3 a.m.  The local weather guy said he saw a few quick faint ones.   3. How can I can have one grown child in Oklahoma under flood watch, and One Child in Mexico under hurricane watch?  On the same day.  Tis true.  4. What have I knitted lately?  I am pretty sure I've ripped more than I've knit.  I ripped out a shawl that I was making up.  It was cotton and pretty.  I need to follow a pattern.  5. I was trying to make socks and decided to make mittens instead.  I haven't worked a thumb in a long time.  I may have to frog it too.  So I have been knitting, but not making things.  6.
