Here is Al's finished top!
The great news is there is no shaping. 

Here are her notes: 
This sweater was not super fun to make but I think it will be a sweater I actually wear. The pattern is Bonny by Tin Can Knits from their book Handmade in the UK (also available as individual download) and made with Juniper Moon Farms Findlay in Poppy. There was no shaping so I simply added two inches of stockinette before the armhole in order to make it long enough for my long torso.

Oh my she is so beautiful! Al takes my breath away with her beauty and talent. You are a blessed Mom. I love the cute top. I would wear that as well. I like tops that are a bit risque/transparent with a tank underneath. I wish I could be young again and wear all the darling styles of today.

Thanks to Al for sharing. I do love Tin Can Knits. Al did a beautiful job with the sweater and it looks great on her -- but a paper bag would look good on such a lovely young woman!

Cottage Yarns has a sale in the fall and in the spring. I say every little bit helps, yeah? An old church was divided up into several small businesses, the yarn store being one of them so the space is small. Some ppl didn't like how the yarn is all in bags that they are packed in, but Katherine has no problem with you pulling out skeins to further examine a skein. I don't go here enough. The San Jose yarn store is nice but sometimes I'd like to see what brands they have; I can't access their website for fear something will infect our laptop; my husband would be so ticked if that happened, but I do like how the San Jose store has some brands I've never used or heard before. Thank you for your support and cheer!

She is gorgeous and so is the sweater! I've been hearing a lot about Tin Can Knits and their patterns on the podcasts I watch. I may have to go check it out. Oh you must be so proud of her and that wonderful talent.

Beautiful sweater and it looks so good on her, the fit and the color! Tin Can Knits has some good patterns. Yes, thanks for sharing Al! I'm glad she believes she will wear it even if it wasn't the most fun to knit. She's beautiful.

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. Insufficient Information

Dear buddy nurse and spay neuter pal Linda, came to visit yesterday.  We knitted. We laughed.  We shared books we are reading. She Showed me her scarf.  It looks like a shawl but it is a scarf. Here is her yarn choice. And the( OUCH) price.   It makes her happy to knit.  If Linda's happy I'm happy.  I dont' know the pattern and neither does she.  Her dog literally shredded her pattern.  She was at a point where she had memorized the easy part and she's nearly finished.  So there you go, anyone know the pattern? You are all so sweet about the move and the house.
