End of a Blog, but not this One

With the news of our moving soon, I had to tell Lynette at my LYS that I was not going to be able to continue writing her blog. (threebagsfullcorner.blogspot.com) 
We had fun while it lasted.  I enjoyed showing you the things her students and staff were working on.  Lynette gave me loads of freedom to write, photograph and publish as I saw fit.  Thanks Lynette.  I won't be gone, just not around as much. 

 I am making sure that wherever we move, I will have access to a good knit shop or two.  

 So after I diligently knitted and felted a square for my felted slippers, I decided I didn't want to knit them.  Ha.  Scatter brained ? Me?  Just a little.  

 I'm knitting that Christmas Stocking I had a hankering for last week.  Bought my cascade yarn yesterday; a skien of red and a skein of green.  I want a felted stocking and so I shall have one. 

 Not talking too much about the move.  It's all good, but I can't see anyone being too interested in how much crap we have thrown out and how easy I find it to toss things.   No decisions yet about a new house, so keep up the good thoughts.  I'll letcha know as we progress. 

 So glad we did the photographs to digital last winter.  

 Have you tossed anything out lately?

Your flower photos are always so perfect.
I've been working in the fleece corner of the craft room getting ready for the TdF and I've tossed lots of boxes into recycling which really cleared up that space. I put all the fiber together in a pretty basket to spin during the Tour. I can't wait. Now that soccer's winding down I need something to watch.

I haven't done much of anything throw out-wise for several months because I just haven't felt like it. I usually do lots of that in the winter. I have gotten lots of knitting/crochet done though. Does that count?

Well, I have culled out some things to get rid of...but they are still on the premises :) Having moved about 18 times in my 65 years you have my full sympathy as you prepare for your move. Exciting times! xx

It makes me a little sad to think of you not being in the Chicago area! Whenever she calls me Darling Daughter always asks, "Where are you?" I recently asked her why she does that and she told me because she likes to know where all of her peeps are. Okay that makes sense. Maybe we should all start calling you and asking you where you are.

We have been cleaning our garage. Good grief, there was everything and anything in there except a car. We found things that had been missing for a long time. Then we threw them away. I can relate!

I sure hope wherever you end up we will still be able to visit for a knitting session! Thanks so much for recommending Short Nights of the Shadowcatcher. I think it should be required reading for everyone in King County and anyone interested in the Native Americans! I loved it. Hope you have read Devil in the White City as it has lots of interesting info about Chicago. It makes me smile thinking that I was reading about Chicago when you were reading about Seattle.

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. Dear buddy nurse and spay neuter pal Linda, came to visit yesterday.  We knitted. We laughed.  We shared books we are reading. She Showed me her scarf.  It looks like a shawl but it is a scarf. Here is her yarn choice. And the( OUCH) price.   It makes her happy to knit.  If Linda's happy I'm happy.  I dont' know the pattern and neither does she.  Her dog literally shredded her pattern.  She was at a point where she had memorized the easy part and she's nearly finished.  So there you go, anyone know the pattern? You are all so sweet about the move and the house.
