 So, One leaf scarf finished in that glorious Madelinetosh A.S.A.P.
in brown.   I ordered that yarn from Webs and it came quickly.

I went to my LYS and found this Malabrigo Rasta (which is listed as an alternate on the Spud and Chloe Susan B. Anderson Leaf scarf pattern) in greens and such. 

I love the greens and hints of brown in these leaves. 
I love this pattern! 
I did it. 
I've found my new Trap scarf/potato chip/repeat knit pattern! 

I love the pattern because you make one leaf at a time and move on. 
You start a leaf with six stitches and end with 6 to begin the vine. 
Using size 15 needles. 
I'm over the moon Knit happy. 
It is like I hit a great golf shot or I 
baked an incredible cake or I saw a shooting star. 
That kind of happy. 
That is why I knit. 
For this knitters high.
 Irises are close to blossom...
Porch is open. 
Come and sit a spell!

I've ordered from that company before - and real quick delivery!!

I started this leaf pattern a few times, but my yarn was never right... Like the one you are using a lot!

I'm knitting the free pattern "Saroyan" (leaves) and then a paid pattern "Dryads" - leaves again. I love to knit leaf themed items!

Porch-knitting is the best thing to do on a hot, lazy day. It will have to wait a couple of weeks (or longer) for that kind of weather to arrive here.

Oh I love your porch and the thought of sitting there and knitting with you is a lovely dream! I always like the results of big yarn on big needles but I can't do it myself. For some reason the needles hurt my wrists, so just the thought of using them makes me choose a smaller yarn and needles.

Love your porch Kathy. Jealous!! Your yarn looks perfect for that pattern. The picture of your Iris is pretty -- they are still so tightly budded that at first I thought they were cattails - lol.

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. Insufficient Information

Dear buddy nurse and spay neuter pal Linda, came to visit yesterday.  We knitted. We laughed.  We shared books we are reading. She Showed me her scarf.  It looks like a shawl but it is a scarf. Here is her yarn choice. And the( OUCH) price.   It makes her happy to knit.  If Linda's happy I'm happy.  I dont' know the pattern and neither does she.  Her dog literally shredded her pattern.  She was at a point where she had memorized the easy part and she's nearly finished.  So there you go, anyone know the pattern? You are all so sweet about the move and the house.
