Saturday May 20th 2016 Leafing Out

This is my second super bulky yarn Spud and Chloe Leaf Scarf.
I liked the Malabrigo Rasta better than the Madelinetosh A.S.A.P.
Arequita is the colorway in Rasta. 

I'm on a crazy kick and have cast the 3rd leaf scarf on tonight.
I scored some sale NORO for 13 bucks a skein today at Mosaic Yarn in Mt. Prospect, Illinois. 
I paid around 20 plus for the other two yarns. 


I realized at 6 pm today that I wore my shirt inside out all day.

How long are your leaf scarves? Would it be easy to make longer ones? I mean, is the pattern simple enough that it could easily be repeated.

Love that leaf scarf! I found the pattern and can't wait to try it. I've not done the inside out shirt thing but once wore 2 different shoes to work and never noticed till leaving to go home.

I met with my neurologist on Wednesday and he walked in with his shirt on inside out, he noticed when he tried to put his pen in his pocket.
It made me giggle which was not the thing to do he doesn't have much of a sense of humor.
You can never go wrong with Malabrigo.

I love the leaf scarf! Sometimes people wear shirts inside out on purpose but it's more fun to do it by mistake. LOL! I have walked around with the tags still on the seat of my pants before.....at parent teacher conferences no less!!!!

Several years ago, a gal in our knitting group was wearing a sweater that was obviously inside out. I discreetly told her about it only to learn it was designed to be worn that way, and the tags on the right side of the knitting proved it. I guess only knitters would notice the difference.

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. Insufficient Information

Dear buddy nurse and spay neuter pal Linda, came to visit yesterday.  We knitted. We laughed.  We shared books we are reading. She Showed me her scarf.  It looks like a shawl but it is a scarf. Here is her yarn choice. And the( OUCH) price.   It makes her happy to knit.  If Linda's happy I'm happy.  I dont' know the pattern and neither does she.  Her dog literally shredded her pattern.  She was at a point where she had memorized the easy part and she's nearly finished.  So there you go, anyone know the pattern? You are all so sweet about the move and the house.
