Spring Spring Spring...and Break

 These little beach buddies are a class at my LYS. 
They look ready for Spring Break. 
I've never been able to knit such little things.
I love the bikini bunny and her tail is adorable. 


The winds took down our neighbors falling apart privacy fence.
They are not the kind to fix it.
The fence fell on my poor St. Francis' head and I dont know if I can  repair him. 

 Fireman is installing a small latch to keep the Fezzik out of my yarn.
I've never had a cat so yarn fixated. 
Thankfully the times he has gotten into the cabinet, he doesnt eat the yarn. He just tangles it and drags it around. 
No more!

That bunny is a hoot! You must have got the remnants of our wind? Maybe you need to teach Fez how to knit? Hope you're having a good weekend!

I replaced my fence last summer: my neighbor's dog was eating the fence. As Robert Frost said, "Good fences make good neighbors."

One of my knitting buddies has trouble with her cat obsessing with yarn, too.

I hope the neighbors clean up their mess so you don't have to look at a toppled fence. How nice of FM to fix stuff for you. Of course Fezzie loves yarn as his mummy loves it. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

Oh, no. Bad fence. The wind had been terrible here too. Yarn is just too tempting to kitties. I have the same problem-also with my handknits. They tear them up if they get their paws on them.

Those bunnies are so cute. Ready for summertime fun. :-) we had a bad windstorm a few months ago that toppled trees, fences and tore off roofs all over our city. We were lucky and just lost a few shingles. Hope the fence gets fixed quickly. We used to have a kitty that loved to "help" me knit. He was so cute about it, I couldn't stay mad at him.

It seems like there's been an aweful lot of high wind situations lately. It blew our patio furniture clear out into the pasture and that's quite a feat considering that it's cast iron furniture. It was down right scary.

Sorry about the neighbors fence falling onto your side! We have had an abundance of higher winds here, too. The bunnies are cute but I haven't had much draw to knit little animals myself. The anti-cat device on the cabinet is an excellent idea!

Maybe Fireman can tackle that fence next. I know you hate to do your neighbor's job, but........

The fence behind us keeps falling half way down and so far, we have NOT figured out how we can FIX it from our side other than just propping it up which is a temporary fix at best. I'm trying to figure out how they do not NOTICE this. :::sigh:::


Giroux won't take things OUT of the yarn cabinet, but he sure will get grabby while I'm working it up. LOL

All right-minded creatures like playing with yarn. Too bad you can't teach Fezzik to knit.

Bummer about the fence! In our village most yards don't have them, which can be an advantage or a disadvantage depending on how well people care for their property....

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. Insufficient Information

Dear buddy nurse and spay neuter pal Linda, came to visit yesterday.  We knitted. We laughed.  We shared books we are reading. She Showed me her scarf.  It looks like a shawl but it is a scarf. Here is her yarn choice. And the( OUCH) price.   It makes her happy to knit.  If Linda's happy I'm happy.  I dont' know the pattern and neither does she.  Her dog literally shredded her pattern.  She was at a point where she had memorized the easy part and she's nearly finished.  So there you go, anyone know the pattern? You are all so sweet about the move and the house.
