Multiples

You've heard the book, The Five Chinese Brothers...well we had the 5 Calico Sisters for surgery this morning. ( One was already on the table when I took this image.)   They ALL reminded me of our Fiona.  Beautiful little babies.
We passed so many beautiful farms on our way to Lake Delavan  yesterday.  So many thriving farms with cows, horses, crops and tractors.  There were storms gathering to the south and when you are out in the country you can see their beauty unfolding.
Multiple fish were caught yesterday.  Fireman was the first to catch a bass.  We also caught walleye, one northern (with a fresh bite taken out of it...ewwww) and blue gill.

The Mitten menagerie continues to grow. This wool pair needed to be felted, and they came out great.

Any multiples by you?
The bounty of summer is upon us in Chicago!

We had multiple thunderstorms pass over yesterday. It was pretty cool, because at first it was all sunny. Then it would get really dark (like winter evening dark) and then the sky would open up, it would storm for 10 minutes, then it was sunny again. And it would do it all over again a couple hours later.

Those kittens are adorable. Very jealous of the fresh fish - I don't get to fish much any more. Walleye is a favourite of mine (though we call them Pickerel in Canada)

Oh those kittens are soo cute. I hope they are all okay.

Great picture of the Fishing Fireman! Those fishes remind me of they kind my cousin would fish for when we were kids and I would tag along after him everywhere.

Growing up, I had a calico cat, and she's probably still my favorite.

I love calico cats. My mother said they were lucky to have so many colors in their coat.

Multiples? Well, that would be the quilts and shawls I've just completed.

My first kitty was a calico. She was blind. I found her in a trash can where someone had tossed her. She was tiny all her life and the cutest little mini kitty ever.

Multiples? Multiple World Cup games today and tomorrow. Lots of knitting time!

I had a tortoise point Himalayan cat for years that I adored. We lost her last year. Those are cuties! I hope you find good homes for them. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

My kitty is all black with a white patch on her chest that is almost heart shaped.

That is one gorgeous lake you were at. I love that area. Having lived in Oconomowoc briefly I remember it well.
Hugs,

Busy times. I hope that the kitties are all OK. xx
