Not My Knitting

I went to Knit Night last night at Three Bags Full.
Christine was showing us her TAMPA shawl.
(thank you Grace for the correction)
Wowza.  I'm impressed.  I don't think Lace in that capacity is anywhere in my future.  That's okay.
I'm content in Mittenland...

Some ladies, in the know, were raving about the patterns in this book by Hatton and Storey.
One lady said she wanted to knit every single thing in the book.
That's a testimonial.  She wasn't the author either!

I do love to photograph Knit night.
Not because there are treats; I had just one mini cookie.
I love to see what others are knitting, if they like the pattern, the yarn, the process.
Head over to the post on
Threebagsfullcorner.blogspot.com for more pictures and inspiration.

I'm off to knit on my porch!
It's gorgeous out!

I should find a knit/crochet group.. but I'm kind of overbooked with activities at this time. But I think they're neat! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

I did the Citron pattern... for Marjie's shawl I think? Lovely. And I love cables, but not "jumpers" so I'll just admire the pretty photo... because I need to be baby knitting!

That shawl is stunning.

And you could TOTALLY do it. It's still just knit and purl. ;-)

I do envy those of you who have a knit night. One of our stores does one twice a month, but it is so popular that you can't find a place to sit or hear over the roar!
That is a pretty shawl.. and I think I'll go check out that book!

I've always loved the Citron, but am a little (or maybe a lot) intimidated to knit one....maybe some day.
I belong to a knit group that meets Thursday nights and Saturday mornings. It's a lot of fun and a great bunch of gals.

I keep looking to find a knit night to go to near me! I had one that I was going to years ago, but they always made me feel left out - so that wasn't fun!!

One of the few disadvantages of living in a yarn-shop-less village is the lack of a Knit Night. Ah well. :)

What a gloriously lovely shawl.

Isn't it nice to be warm again? I actually sweated on my ride yesterday - a strange feeling! It was very windy too, but the sun was shining which makes a huge difference.
