Stuffies

I couldn't resist showing you this darling croc that someone knit up at Three Bags Full.  Linda is a teacher there who is great with toys. They are making a girl croc to pair with this guy. 
Oh my.  I loved him! 
HE's a Noro croc. 
He's silly and sweet. 
I may have to make a toy with Linda someday. 

The only toy I've made is a one seam Teddy that came out a bit wonky. OH, wait I made a one square bunny that came out cute.

I have never knit toys but I recently found a pattern for Bunny Buddies. They are basically a round ball with two ears and a pom-pom tail. I think I can handle that. Maybe if I have some success with bunnies I will try a Croc because he is adorable!

I have knitted LOTS of toys. In fact, that's what got me knitting in the first place. I still love it. I can't wait to make the giant octopus from the kit that I won.

Sure have! My favorite was a huge snake requested by our oldest grandson; he chose the biggest toy he could find in my book of toy knits. LOL All three of the kids play with it, so it was worth the time.

I started on a flamingo friend for Flo. However, I didn't like the way it was going and never finished. Flo will just have to stay single for awhile longer.

I have --- some from a pattern, some freestyle. When I taught Hannah to knit, her first project was a stuffed dog. She wasn't having any of the washcloth / scarf nonsense.

I've never knit toys, but I knit dresses for my Barbie when I was a kid.

I made a little Santa/gnome that turned out awesome ages ago. I tried a bunny last Easter and it was terrible. He got frogged but good.
I am such a Croc person. I should make that guy some day.

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. When I shoot photos of the moon I think of Dear Teresa.  Gone too soon. She took fabulous moon pictures.  2. Dear buddy nurse and spay neuter pal Linda, came to visit yesterday.  We knitted. We laughed.  We shared books we are reading. She Showed me her scarf.  It looks like a shawl but it is a scarf. Here is her yarn choice. And the( OUCH) price.   It makes her happy to knit.  If Linda's happy I'm happy.  I dont' know the pattern and neither does she.  Her dog literally shredded her pattern.  She was at a point where she had memorized the easy part and she's nearly finished.  So there you go, anyone know the pattern? You are all so sweet about the move and the house.
