Loving March This Year

Welcome Spring is putting it mildly eh?
How about, Oh my gosh Spring?  We are so excited to see you!
We thought you'd never get here.
Did you get lost on the way?
Are you hungry?
Can I fix something for you. ...
DONT LEAVE!
Enough snow has melted that our snow drops are visible.
They are my first garden sign of the end of winter.

Fireman says, and he is right, that we will get more snowfall this March, but it will be short lived.

Fireman rode his new bike today for the first ride of 2015.
We Neutered puppies this morning at the shelter.
It is puppy season and it is kitten season.

We get really goofy in Chicago for 50 degees and sunshine.

I feel the need to knit with a spring color....
something say...green?

Spring is showing signs here, too, but I agree with Fireman that we will receive at least two more snows before Spring decides to stay.

I guess our spring headed up to see you. Yesterday it was 90 degrees here. Today 87.

Summer is upon us.

What kind of bike did Fireman get? I'm still making do with my Raleigh C40, but I've been sorely tempted by the bikes at our local shop. I ride with a bunch of folks on Wednesdays. We start out from the local bike shop.....perfect timing for browsing the bikes.

Yay for green! We had our last snow here on March 26th last year. That's very unusual but I do recall a white Easter once upon a time,

Glad your weather is improving - you've had way more than your share of cold and now!!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who has startitis! So are your newly cast-on socks going to be green to go with the season?

Oh yes, a wonderful grass green yarn is what we all need. It was 80 here today--a big change over the 30 we had last week with the snow. I did tell DH though that I believe we will have more cold weather around Easter, so I agree with Fireman. Anyway, Spring is almost here!
Yay!!!! How wonderful for you that spring is springing!!! The snowdrops are beautiful!!! xx

Remember it can snow in May! I have seen it with my own eyes.

You echo my thoughts perfectly. Suddenly, spring is here, and the cold winter temps have left us! Yahoo! The snow is melting and spring flowers are thinking about emerging.

I can only imagine it must be such a thrill to see the pops of green coming through the earth in Spring. No snow here.
