Valentines Through The Fisheye

 Happy Valentines Day! 
 I heart you all. 
I heart the lurkers and the comment folk and the pretend folk and the already metcha folk!
 I am very impatient when I start knitting anew.
I've tried to knit this scarf before, and have given up. 
I decided to try again. 
I had to cast on 500 stitches.
If I just push through the beginning I think I'll love it. 
I heart progress.....
 You know I heart Fireman. 
He gave me a gadget for Valentine's Day. 
This phone attachment changes the lens on the camera on the phone on the table....
To a fish eye lens. 
or a macro lens
or a wide angle lens. 

It is ridiculously fun to see the world through goldfish eyes.
Hey YOU? Where's Mr Rogers? 
I want to eat. 
I'm all silly about it.....can you tell?

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. When I shoot photos of the moon I think of Dear Teresa.  Gone too soon. She took fabulous moon pictures.  2. Cookie Sheet Blanket Contest .....

This is a call for knitters to knit a baby blanket no bigger than a cookie sheet. Blankets will be distributed in the NICU where I work. We just don't get many blankets. We need them. Traditional baby colors will do, but we'd love you to branch out a bit. Use up those leftovers if you wish. You could win a lovely prize. All who send a blanket by November 1st, ALL SAINTS DAY, you angels you, will be entered in the drawing. Here are the rules: Blanket must be made of yarn which is washable. Sorry, Hospital rules. It cannot be bigger than a cookie sheet. Smaller is welcome also. That's it. Those are the rules. I'll post the prize by next week. The nearly Thousandth post Contest

(just another baby legging in the image. Using my socks yarns a little differently) I think that blogger may not have correctly counted all the posts I've written. I've been posting since 2004 so I guess it is possible. I'm not going to go back and count them all. It says this is post 987. So we'll go with it. Im having a little contest for the milestone, but I have had writer's block since I decided on the 1000th post contest.
