Day 11 2015. A Few of My New Favorite Things

 I have a new best friend. She's 
My new Hoover floor mate.
For 140.00 she cleans my hardwood floors and she puts down the soapy water and sucks it back up.  She dries the floor too!!!
I cannot even begin to tell you how much I love her. 
I was a hands and knees kind of floor girl with old towels and missed spots.  
No more! 
This baby is amazing. 
I figure if I use her twice I've made up the cost.  Maids cost about 80 dollars a crack around here. Not that I use a maid anymore, but for comparison sake...
I love her so much I may buy another incase they stop making them. 
I cannot tell you how filthy the water was after she sucked it up. 
We have almost no carpeting in the house.
My new girlfriend does the tile and the wood floors equally well. 
I'm gushing I know.
I may have to go to the closet and just pat her a bit later....


 At the yarn shop yesterday someone was using this pill tool for her sweater. 
WOwza it really worked.  Her old pilling sweater looked like new when she finished.

I smiled at your new girlfriend. When we moved to Arizona 2-1/2 years ago, where our new home had only tile floors (except for the bedrooms), I tried every motorized cleaner I could think of and still had streaks on the floor. I'm too old to get on my knees and clean, so I have a nice group of ladies who come in every 4 weeks and clean my floors, and they do a great job.

Your Hoover is fantastic. I need one. I do the "on my knees with an old towel" thing because mops just don't do the job.
My new favorite thing is my Shark hand held vac. It does the furniture like crazy. No more cat hair on my butt.

I love how you gush over your hoover! We have hardwood (beat-up) floors and they need more TLC than I can truly give. I like anything that makes things clean, with ease! I only Instagram besides the blog. I like it! I'm following you now!

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. Dear buddy nurse and spay neuter pal Linda, came to visit yesterday.  We knitted. We laughed.  We shared books we are reading. She Showed me her scarf.  It looks like a shawl but it is a scarf. Here is her yarn choice. And the( OUCH) price.   It makes her happy to knit.  If Linda's happy I'm happy.  I dont' know the pattern and neither does she.  Her dog literally shredded her pattern.  She was at a point where she had memorized the easy part and she's nearly finished.  So there you go, anyone know the pattern? You are all so sweet about the move and the house.
