I needed some color today....so I give you

KnittingRn's wedding photo with her amazing shawl.  
The wedding was in Ireland. 
Ravelry highlighted her photo and I had to show it to you in case you missed it. 
She's beautiful. 

What a fantastic image they will have forever. She will treasure that shawl forever too. 

I was not happy with my wedding photos. 
I will be as sure as I can be that my children have great photographers at their weddings. 
Our photographer sent an assistant to our wedding.  We had no idea .
He made huge mistakes like putting us under plants on shelves so we look like our heads are growing plants.  Seriously. 

For better or worse and in photographs too!

We got married at a justice of the peace, so I booked an appt. at a professional photographer's studio for afterwards and I cherish that photo. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

I spent a fortune on Daughter's wedding photographer and I have great photos of her and hubby. I, on the other hand look like an unhappy corpse in the photos for the most part. Too much makeup and too stressed out. I should have hired better makeup people and had a glass of wine or two before the thing got started. I learned my lesson at Son's wedding. I look great in those photos.

I agree - the photographer is the important expense for a wedding. No one remembers the food at the reception, but those photos last a looong time. Memories frozen in images.

We have a picture of the pastor that married us looking like he has devil horns.
We were married in Steve's step mother's house and posed in front of the fireplace. The candles on the mantle are behind Pastor Kadel's head and hence....horns. Bad karma for sure. LOL

That is a beautiful shawl and I love the little llamas. We got married by a justice of the peace and have one photo that my mom took of us. That's really all you need -- one good photo. :) Best wishes, Tammy

Ahh, Llamas. I understand they are a very loving breed, sweet to be around. On the other hand, an alpaca breeder said that alpacas do not bond with humans as nicely as llamas do. Sad face.

The knitted shawl on the bride is a prize photo! Wow. Lovely. It's worth it to have great photos of big events.

What a beautiful bride! The shawl is so perfectly pinned in her hair that I hope she wore it for the wedding and not just for photos. I have never been truly happy with our wedding photos but they are what they are and I still get teary when I look at them.

I am all caught up, cute Izzy, fun jelly beans, over drama about the weather out east and love all the Saint's in your life. I got married with 12 guests on a dock, it was humid and horribly hot out for Feb, I looked like a skinny loser in my suit.

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. Insufficient Information

Dear buddy nurse and spay neuter pal Linda, came to visit yesterday.  We knitted. We laughed.  We shared books we are reading. She Showed me her scarf.  It looks like a shawl but it is a scarf. Here is her yarn choice. And the( OUCH) price.   It makes her happy to knit.  If Linda's happy I'm happy.  I dont' know the pattern and neither does she.  Her dog literally shredded her pattern.  She was at a point where she had memorized the easy part and she's nearly finished.  So there you go, anyone know the pattern? You are all so sweet about the move and the house.
