A Great Baby Gift Thank You Photo
Remember the poncho I knit for my work pal Abby?
Here is Sloane staying warm in her poncho!
Details:
Sloane: adorable, doesn't sleep much ...
Mother: Nicu nurse Abby...adorable too
Yarn: Two strands of Koigu held together throughout.
Pattern: Posh Poncho
Details: nice ribbed neck,
steady increases in first third of poncho,
freelanced the fringe.
Here is another thank you photo from Lynn of her
boys Mr. Whiskers and Teddy.
They are adorable and still snuggle buds...brothers!
They were from our foster litter with Lucy Lou ....
There has been considerable knitting progress on two Trap scarves this week.
The navy/maize is nearly finished.
The Cotton Brown/Red is nearly finished.
Some progress was made on the modular shawl.
I have to switch things up a bit....
my arm is a tad sore. I love cotton yarn, but it doesnt give much.
Addi turbos don't help either, I need the 'give' in wooden needles.
SO:
I'm going to cast on for socks.
Somehow socks on wooden straights never hurts.
Final thought on this October Friday:
I have to work on my Halloween Black Cat photo for this year.....
because when you love black cats...
well Tis the Season!

I think I am like you Kathy in terms of aware of which needles and yarn make me sore or comfortable rather. I think I get aware that some combo makes me feel like I'm "fighting" with the yarn and that's never a good feeling. Here is to happy, relaxing knitting for you. Your traps are great.
Knitting with cotton always makes my hands hurt, regardless of the type of needles.
At first I thought one of the kitties in the picture was Uncle Tank.
The two cats...oh they look so comfortable!
Hugs,
Meredith
Those cats make me want to take a nap. :)
