Reader Beware: Long chatty post
I love this picture of Al knitting on the fishing boat from Summers past. Fireman is releasing a fish and Huck is watching.
You don't see me or Zach, but we are there. The black flies are there too, as are the loons and the eagles.
Big Kitten Lake in Boulder Junction Wisconsin holds great memories for us.
When my father sold his cabin, it was a grieving process for us.
Then we were offered a cabin to rent in the same area for a week each summer. Life went on!
This summer Al is one one coast and Zach is in the Yucatan Penninsula. We will meet for a couple days, however, in August.
Zach is teaching English this summer on a small island in Mexico.
His students lives depend on learning English in order to work in the tourist trade.
Zach is living with a host family.
My children do things I was never brave enough to do!
The host family has a rabbit as a pet.
I think I need to knit a bunny, don't you?
This is a chatty long post.
We are expecting storms and I am expecting to work tonight.
This means women will be having babies tonight and I'll be running.
I changed shoes and my back seems better after an eight hour shift. I left my beloved clogs and put on new cushy gym shoes.
I've been getting my steps in lately too.
Last week was a cheat week and I didn't' walk at all.
Not sure why.
I am finding that after I walk my right ankle feels jammed.
I need to POP it out.
Does this happen to you?
I'm so happy to be back Trap knitting.
I know I'm B-O-R-I-N-G
I have been walking my friends' dog 3 times a week.
They moved across town to a very old rental house.
Today I take Sadie out from that house.
I'm going to enjoy seeing the inside of that old old house.
Our hummingbirds have ditched us.
We have cardinals and sparrows.
The psychic said my Nana comes to me as a cardinal.
Well she is everywhere then!
We have been hearing a Hawk Crying, screeching
frequently the past two days.
Rozzy is feeling great. She's like a new girl.
Maybe she's going to see 18 after all!
I'll end this post with this:
May your troubles be less
and your blessings be more
and nothing but happiness
come through your door.

I am so tired of the l-o-o-o-n-g shawl I am knitting that the Trap sounds great to me about now. Why did I call that thing easy-peasy? I should have named it longy-wrongy.
My walking has stalled and my energy level is at an all time low. I seem to trudge through the days. My Dr. says all is well, but. . .
Hugs,
Meredith
I walk with him after dinner when the weather allows. Tonight we did once around the subdivision because oh it was so soupy and heavy with humidity.
Walked a bit with my father today and my three yr old niece. My father is 86 and has had a stroke. He is doing PT for a knee issue. My niece is the energizer bunny and this is all the more amazing because she has hypoplastic left heart syndrome and the fact that she is alive is a miracle. Old Orchard Potbelly was her choice of fine dining for the three of us for lunch today. She was ready to go to the grocery store afterwards but we brought her home and she looked like nap time was in order --tired out little girl.
I need to walk more but sometimes it hurts my legs (trigger points, pinched nerve and DVT). Try not to let those things hamper me.
Hopefully the rains will come and bring in less humid air.
Meredith, hope a cool cloth to your forehead helps somehow.
Araignee: of course your grandma comes to you as a seagull. I believe…
Suburban prep: Your niece with Hypo left heart IS a miracle!! wow . God Bless your family

A terrific storm just blew in and I have a wee one sitting on my left arm whilst I try to type. The end.
