Sunday Out Like a Lamb

tis true this year.  March is going out like a lamb.   So baa baaa baaa.  And bring on Spring.  

my wrap is so sweet and easy to knit, thanks to my local pretend friend for the pattern!

Up this week:

sale at my lys three bags full

Cubs baseball begins, and the predictions are not good ....again

But baseball is wonderful and I can root for more than one team.......

And the cats will be out on the porch at least one day this week

And there is a quest to find  rain boots.  The pair I ordered on line was too small for my calfskin

I was going to tell you about 3 bags if you didn't already know.
I am thinking of going too.

I have just spent money this weekend (things were needed). Hence the reason I am thinking about going and not sure am going. I was just in on Friday and I wanted some yarn but held off.

We've had it all here today-rain, sleet, snow, wind and cold. Now we are being warned about flooding. I know spring has to happen sometime, doesn't it? Isn't it a rule somewhere?

Oh poor Cubs! I love them so much but they have been so bad since we left Chicago. I would move back if it would help them.

As a Phillies fan, I feel your pain.

We are going to a hockey game next week. They TRADED my favorite player. My next favorite made a goal last night --- FOR THE OTHER TEAM.

Dear buddy nurse and spay neuter pal Linda, came to visit yesterday.  We knitted. We laughed.  We shared books we are reading. She Showed me her scarf.  It looks like a shawl but it is a scarf. Here is her yarn choice. And the( OUCH) price.   It makes her happy to knit.  If Linda's happy I'm happy.  I dont' know the pattern and neither does she.  Her dog literally shredded her pattern.  She was at a point where she had memorized the easy part and she's nearly finished.  So there you go, anyone know the pattern? You are all so sweet about the move and the house. Every Once in a While I Might Post

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. When I shoot photos of the moon I think of Dear Teresa.  Gone too soon. She took fabulous moon pictures.  2. I did not see one shooting star last night.  I only got up for a few moments around 3 a.m.  The local weather guy said he saw a few quick faint ones.   3. How can I can have one grown child in Oklahoma under flood watch, and One Child in Mexico under hurricane watch?  On the same day.  Tis true.  4. What have I knitted lately?  I am pretty sure I've ripped more than I've knit.  I ripped out a shawl that I was making up.  It was cotton and pretty.  I need to follow a pattern.  5. I was trying to make socks and decided to make mittens instead.  I haven't worked a thumb in a long time.  I may have to frog it too.  So I have been knitting, but not making things.  6.
