The Camera Is Healed

Fireman fixed our broken camera.  The good camera .
The one that fell into the lake a week after we bought it.  Years ago.

I hope to bring you much better images this year. I'm thrilled!

I can't seem to break the clearance camera…isn't that always the way. ????
I will continue to bring my 50 dollar clearance camera on outings where I usually knock it around and drop it a few times.

I cast on anew yesterday, again.

I now have 5 projects to choose from.

*The static loving headband
(whose fibers race up my nose and cause nasal stuffiness)

*The never ending garter Vest
(which requires biggy yarn and biggy needles. I have to rest my arm after a bit of knitting this one.)

*The Knit picks shawl in bright colors
(I'm just bored now after a skein of knitting and needed to cast on again anew)

*The leftover sock cowl
(Im not that interested in the finish)
and

* A new blue hat.

The blue hat yarn is gift swap yarn called
Zen Yarn Garden in HURON.

I'm making up the pattern.

You have until Valentines Day to enter my giveaway.  You must leave a comment on the post announcing the giveaway
on  the 2/5/2014 post.

Finally how many WIP's do you have going?

Two --- a cardigan and a shawl. The latter will be finished long before the former.

Glad to hear your "good" camera is back in business; I sure like that first photo on your page!

Well...I only have one project on needles at the moment, with thoughts of starting a 2nd one real soon. I also want to put another pair of socks on needles...but I'm not one to have more than just a couple of projects going at one time. I think I fear that none of them will get finished if I do.

I am awful. I probably have 6-8 projects going.
I get bored very easily and I have to keep changing it up. I also have to have a project with me when I go out so I make sure that there is something easy and I do not need to concentrate on that too much.

Two scarves, two pairs of socks, a shawl for me, and a sweater vest for DIL--six. I struggle with knit monogamy.

So glad Fireman fixed the good camera but you take super pictures with the "not so good" one!!

I have two, the purple sweater I love but has not been touched since I went to Ohio, it is in a basket trying to get my attention and a new linen stitch scarf that seems to take an hour to do a row, not much progress here on anything.
Hugs,
Meredith

Love your thumb ring! PRETTY!

1. Patty Polk's sampler (almost finished)

2. Hudson Bay-inspired blanket (about 1/6 done)

3. Pair of Bubble Wrap socks. One sock is finished, the second sock just started.

That's it for me. ;-)

Yay for Mr. Fix-it!

I honestly don't know. I have an orange cotton cowl, a green cardi, a red cardi, a cream baby blanket and the dish cloth with one needle. (Thanks, Sis...)

Too many to count and of all types. Sigh! And then there are the UFO's. LOL

Gorgeous snow photo!

Wips - hmmm - an about-to-be-frogged manly neckwarmer (not enough yarn, dang it); a cowl for magazine submission; a scarf being re-knitted (was originally stockinette and curled horribly); a pair of mitts for a birthday that happened last November (shame on me); my original pair of socks which I started a YEAR ago (second sock syndrome - what can I say? And is this really a Wip or a UFO?) - that's all I can think of at the moment. I'm sure there are more.

Looking forward to seeing the hat design!

I have too many projects to count. It's shameful. I meant to spend the new year getting some out of the way but I always have a reason to cast on something new. I need to stay away from Ravelry and just knit what I have going until I run out. Right?

LOL! You have a plethora of choices, Kathy!! I think I have only three on the needles... one of which is The Unloved and it may NEVER get off the needles. LOL! blessings ~ tanna

Look at those nails! Whoo hoo! I'm glad you got your camera functioning again, you feel the possibilities, I can sense it ;) Personally, I'm crap with the photo taking no matter what it is.
