Purple People Eater

 The Bride wore purple to her shower on Sunday.

kings cakes are out in the grocery stores so I too have been seeing a lot of purple.

Great picture of the couple! Well done! And yes, I remember the Purple People Eater!

I am not "into" a particular color at the moment. However, not too long ago it seemed I was attracted to everything in "blues." Funny, because it's never been my favorite color.

I was never big on purple before, but recently I have become drawn to it-and love allot of the shades. Right now I am getting drawn back into my civil war era fabrics and colors-they just make me feel so good-love those natural browns and madder reds

I remembered the part about it being a "one eye, one horn flying purple people eater" but I had forgotten the part about the rock and roll band. Great old song!

I love purple too but haven't knit with it in a while. I seem to be stuck on pink and grey right now.

I keep looking for a deep cobalt purple blue...after hearing that looking at that color for 15 minutes a day is an anti-depressant and appetite suppressant :)

I remember the Purple People Eater and the Yellow Polka Dot Bikini. I haven't been seeing any color but white for a while. It snowed today and more is expected tomorrow. I need some green!

I used to know all the words to "Purple People Eater" but I don't think I do anymore.

I'm knitting with scraps, so I am seeing LOTS of color at the moment.

One-eyed, one-horned, flying purple people eater...

I'm liking purple a lot these days which is funny because I've never been a fan... until the Knight announced his dog - Sissy - would wear purple. Six years later, I'm finding myself quite drawn to it too.

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. When I shoot photos of the moon I think of Dear Teresa.  Gone too soon. She took fabulous moon pictures.  2. Dear buddy nurse and spay neuter pal Linda, came to visit yesterday.  We knitted. We laughed.  We shared books we are reading. She Showed me her scarf.  It looks like a shawl but it is a scarf. Here is her yarn choice. And the( OUCH) price.   It makes her happy to knit.  If Linda's happy I'm happy.  I dont' know the pattern and neither does she.  Her dog literally shredded her pattern.  She was at a point where she had memorized the easy part and she's nearly finished.  So there you go, anyone know the pattern? You are all so sweet about the move and the house.
