The Haircut

We interrupt this knit blog to give you some hair pictures. 

 Katherine, you were my inspiration. 
I have wanted it short short for months. 
It is shaved in the back and I love it. 
I can brush it forward and it looks a bit more like
the pretty brunette in the image below. 
I pretty much have the thickest hair in the world. Every single person who has ever cut my hair confirms this. 
Every person who shampoos it confirms this too.  

I am overjoyed each day to shower shampoo condition and 
be done with the blow dryer in about 3 minutes. 

Most of the reviews are good.  One person today gave me the old, 
"Did you cut your hair?" and nothing further ….
that's pretty much a thumbs down.

I have very short hair. Always have. Makes getting ready in the morning a breeze!

I love, love, love it!! When I see short hair on a woman I always think "classy!" I get lots of "I love your hair style" comments, but the ones who feel the need to comment on how "women should have long hair" or who make odd faces and mention how short my hair is, I believe, are jealous and wish they were brave enough to do the same!

Very stylish.
I have been meaning to get something done with my hair for the last couple of weeks.
It started with the polar vortex Jan 6 and 7. I had a hair appt then --cancelled it. Snow came very heavy and I cancelled that earlier. Then I had an appt for Monday and well it was below 0 again so cancelled. Now it is scheduled for this coming Tuesday and the weather stations in town are talking snow again.
What is the big deal about driving in the snow really nothing but I drive 14 miles to the salon and well the road is not a good one when it is snowy and cold (I know you know the rd).

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. Dear buddy nurse and spay neuter pal Linda, came to visit yesterday.  We knitted. We laughed.  We shared books we are reading. She Showed me her scarf.  It looks like a shawl but it is a scarf. Here is her yarn choice. And the( OUCH) price.   It makes her happy to knit.  If Linda's happy I'm happy.  I dont' know the pattern and neither does she.  Her dog literally shredded her pattern.  She was at a point where she had memorized the easy part and she's nearly finished.  So there you go, anyone know the pattern? You are all so sweet about the move and the house.
