The Final Knitted Gift is Done!

 We will return to our regularly scheduled knitting, with great relief, today. 
I don't like knitting under pressure, most of us don't. 
I finished this scarf last night.  There is a little gold glimmering in this wool blend.  I hope my friend Jennifer loves it. 
Pie and Beatles are already on Santa Watch…

Done. Done. Done. I am mercifully done and ready to get back to my regular old knitting. Between you and me-I HATE to knit for other people. I only do it when asked but it is never a pleasant experience. Of course I can't say any of this on my own blog!

Very pretty scarf! I'm done gift knitting and wrapping but the cookie and candy making is still in full swing and between me and you and a fly on the wall I can hardly wait to just sit and knit for me again. This whole Holiday thing is exhausting!

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. Dear buddy nurse and spay neuter pal Linda, came to visit yesterday.  We knitted. We laughed.  We shared books we are reading. She Showed me her scarf.  It looks like a shawl but it is a scarf. Here is her yarn choice. And the( OUCH) price.   It makes her happy to knit.  If Linda's happy I'm happy.  I dont' know the pattern and neither does she.  Her dog literally shredded her pattern.  She was at a point where she had memorized the easy part and she's nearly finished.  So there you go, anyone know the pattern? You are all so sweet about the move and the house.
