Sally's Slippers Finish
I finished the Sally's Slippers for my great niece for Christmas.
She asked for white and grey. I added the little rosettes.
This is a fun fun patten knitters.
You make a series of 8 squares and put them together in a
unusual manner and voila, they are adorable slippers.
The pattern can be found on Midnattsol's blog or
prayershawlministries.blogspot.com, then click on Sally's Slippers on the side bar.
Felting again, is my friend. I've stuffed them to dry to shape.
(Below, per Nancy's request, is a favorite ornament on our tree!)
Are you Finishing anything today?
Comments
Hopefully, I will finish a pair of socks today and another Oddball section.
Hugs,
Meredith
Beautiful ornament, and the slippers look cozy and fun. No light colored slippers on my floor though ... ha!
Love the bell. I just put up my tree IN MY BEDROOM. It's the only place I have where I can keep the cats off my precious glass ornaments. We do have another tree in the living room covered in things that can't break. It's not so pretty but much more practical since the cats moved in.
The slippers are cute. They look like they will keep your neice's feet very comfy and warm.
Nothing finished today, but two new starts. I'll have to wait to post though. Not enough done to really show a good picture.
We are just putting up the tree today so that's not finished. The Christmas shopping isn't finished. Cookies and goodies for Christmas Eve are not finished, but I'm nearly finished, does that count?
Nothing is finished here, other than firehouse photos with Santa.
