Porches, Pools, Produce and Production

Little blind Pie is such a brave creature.  She was long-boarding on the porch yesterday...

You know what I love to do more than swim in a pool?  I love to tread water. I can tread water in my neighbor's pool for over a half an hour without any trouble.

Myfitnesspal says I burn as many calories treading water as I do swimming.....
Do you believe that?  I'm not sure I do.
This is the farmer's market tomato table.  What a welcome sight; locally grown tomatoes are fantastic.
Oh -  this is the knitting that is happening around here.  Sock knitting is the best for me in summertime.  I'm keeping this pair.  It is COFFEE SHOP From Knitpicks and it knits like butter. I'm already on the toe of the first sock.

Anything to add to my "P" theme today?

Oh my gosh I love that yarn. Blue and brown together are my favorite combination.

Pie is a little daredevil! I went to the farmers market this weekend too. It's one of my favorite places. DH says I am the only person he knows who could spend 3 hours at a farmers market.

I agree that you do use as many calories treading water as you do swimming, and lolling in the water is good for the soul!

Pie is SO cute! Love those new socks, Kathy. The Midwest has the best corn and tomatoes; we miss them!

You go, Pie! Such a cutie....
That pool photo is killing me. I am so hot and miserable and I am in the AC. I want to jump in that water soooooo bad.

As for P...., hmmmm. I have been watching non-stop baby coverage since 1 am so what else could I say but little Prince. Woo hoo!

Wow, the sock yarn colorway is yummy! I've got to look into that.

Nothing compares to home-grown tomatoes!

My "P" is "panic." I still have knitting to finish before the County Fair, and the entry day is TOMORROW - I hope I can get everything finished.

I love fresh, local tomatoes. Love the sock colorway too. Pie is fearless and cute!

I'm still waiting for pleasant weather. Does that fit your P theme?

Hmmm after telling you I was going to work on crocheting my shawl yesterday, Kathy, I didn't :(
So I guess my word is "procrastination."
