Haven't been on a trip for a bit now so I don't know what we do.

As for the Hawks great birthday gift for my husband (his birthday was yesterday)

Congrats to the winners! Road trips... it all depends on how far we are going. If we need to stay in a certain city at a certain time, then we make reservations. This tends to happen on the shorter trips to particular destinations. Many times our real road trips involve the rv, and we are leisurely traveling at our own speed staying wherever we can, with no campground reservations. It is about time for one of those "leisurely" trips. We have not been on one of those in quite some time.

Congratulations to the winners!

I always wing it on the road, who knows what adventures may surface along the way. If I have a schedule, I'll miss those opportunities.

Yay to the winners! Nice bloggers all!

We usually go with a super-detailed plan for vacation, but I often get derailed and do something totally different mid-vacation.

Half-and-half in the vacation planning department -- I like to half a rough plan and know that there's a bed somewhere, but also be very open (and aware) of options and opportunities!

Where are you going? :)

Wahoo! Thanks, Kathy!! And congrats to the other winners!

I like to have a plan when taking a vacation...but then I'm always open to modifying it...and often that's what happens!

Hooray for the Hawks ! So happy we'll get to see the Cup here , even if it's not the Canadiens who won it . Congrats to Cory and all of his team mates !

Congratulations to all the winners , enjoy your prizes !

As for road trips I am so not a fly by the seat of your pants kinda person . Need to plan things out as much as possible .

Congratulations on the win, said the sad Bruins fan...

The only place we don't wing it is Disney World. It lets us stop and see stuff along the way and not worry about being late for a reservation. Also we can scope the place out and stay somewhere else if we don't like the way it looks.

Congrats! We posted this morning about your victory. Does that count?
Congratulations to all of the lucky winners! And... I definitely wing it. I like to fly by the seat of my pants and change my mind if the weather or the mood strikes. :)

Blessings, Debbie

Congrats on the win!
I like to wing it, The Mister likes a plan. It's all good because road trips are FUN.

Yippee!! Aren't those Hawks super?

I would say that 90% of our road trips are on the fly. We have had to drive through the night, or part of it, on a couple of occasions for lack of planning, but those are the trips we remember most!

We watched that game :-( It was good.

Lovely prizes. Congrats to the winners. Finally - we do both depending on the vacation. Sometimes we make reservations and stick with them, sometimes we get to our location and fly by the seat of our pants. :) g

WOOHOO!!! Both Hemi and I thank you! That yarn is GORGEOUS too!!!

As far as road trips, we do a little of both. We usually know where we are headed (NC, NY, GA) but where we stop along the way is usually a hit or miss along with where we stop for the night. I just try to figure out if we do stop, how much time do we have in the morning to get to where we're going. that being said, I do make sure we stop at a Krispy Kreme donut shop in SC on the way home. Usually it's too late when we drive north, but coming home always requires donuts and coffee to keep the drive going!!!

Cheers for all the winners :-)

Reservations...rarely, except when my destination is a favorite motel on the beach in northern CA!

Congrats!

And what's a road trip? I took them as a young adult, and crashed with college friends and their families along the way. Now, I travel only for conferences or head for the beach house...
