It's All About the Shawl Y'allI (Mizzle free Raverly pattern)

It's all about the shawl
 Y'all
The yarn is set, you see,
It was not happy thinking
it was a sock to be.

Now that I know it's wishes
I can knit on cheerfully.
It's very very blue
and it reminds me of the Lake
I Pick it up to knit it
and I don't fear the mistakes

It's an ordinary Tuesday and that's just fine by me,
are you knitting?
are you writing
keep on going, happ-i-ly.

Love the color.
Perhaps on my way home I will go to 3 Bags to look at yarn. I just have to leave in time so I do not get caught in construction.
Knitting is what is keeping me sane at the moment. Well it is a distraction at least.
I have a procedure coming up and knitting has sort of kept my mind away from it. It has helped to when I have gone to the appt with my parents too.
Thank you for writing your postings.

I can see why the yarn did not want to be socks - it's lovely as a shawl.

Socks are being knit at my house - two separate pairs on the needles right now.

I should be sewing, but that is a disaster, so I will treat myself to knitting instead.

I like the redirected sock into shawl. It looks like it's coming along really nicely! Lake Blue it definitely is. I will try to draw on your inspiration Kathy!

No, I'm not knitting today. Darn old eyes. I'm envious. :(

Beautiful.

I knitted! The first meeting of the JLC Crafts 'n Cocktails met last night. Two knitted. Three drank and watched. One did wood burning. Very good times indeed.

And proud "mom" moment; the other knitter was a beginner in my April class! She cast on for project #3.
