Love Is In the AIr

For some reason, Fireman wanted to be sure my wedding gown was still in good condition in the box in the basement.
Yippee, it is in great condition. I wore a hat at my wedding.
The nicest thing about my dress was the back of it.  It was an open oval in back.  This complied with the strict Catholic rules about wedding dresses back in the day.......
ahhhhh the things the Church decides to focus on sometimes baffle me.  Oh wait, this is a knit blog!
I was waiting at Costco for  Zach to have an eye exam.  I was knitting my blanket dutifully.  I cannot tell you how many men I saw buying roses for their Valentines in just an hour.  This lumberjack beau bought 2 dozen...
makes me wonder.....
maybe his gal is just twice as wonderful as one gal....

Its the WEEKEND.  I'm off and hoping no meteors venture near you or me.
Happy knitting.

My husband brought flowers home and I made a lovely piece of salmon and bought a desert which we shared. I saw flowers flying out of the all purpose store when I went to buy a card. Big fun! g

Got a kick out of your post today.

Wondering if the lumberjack is really romantic or really in trouble. Ha. So fun to speculate. It must have been interesting to watch all the guys waiting to pay for the roses, etc. What a good day for people-watching while knitting.

Maybe he had TWO girls!! I say anything that makes a man buy flowers and chocolate is a good thing.

Happy asteroid-free weekend knitting!!

Love Costco.
My husband went to Dominicks to purchase tulips for me the night before.
We had chicken broth and noodles for dinner (I know so romantic) but we both really weren't that hungry.
I have sat at Costco (probably the same one) at the picnic tables there at the food court. It is interesting to sit and people watch. Have not brought in my knitting though.

Fun! I just read another sweet Valentine post by a friend with small children who made it a really cozy, comfy family affair...

We had Arbys. I was going to make lasagna, but the Knight had made pasta the night before and wanted... Arbys. So, he fetched Arbys with turnovers for dessert. Ha!

Gosh, 10 days away from a computer really put me behind on your blog, Kathy! Your kitties are so very cute. Loved seeing your knitting also. Looks like the worst of the snow missed your area but you still got enough to make that cardinal stand out. Please make the snow melt before we get there next month, OK?

I'm sure the lumberjack was purchasing some flowers for his mother, too. ;oD It's either that, or like Katherine said, he may have TWO girls.

I wore a hat at my wedding, too. Didn't go the "Real Wedding Dress" route, though. Blouse and skirt.
