I'll Pay a Little More For....

 Somethings .........like
real maple syrup

Like beautiful sock yarn
that has some bounce to it

Like a good work bag, although mine is a gift from AL

Like hand lotion that soothes these nurse hands

I'll pay a little more for

a great haircut

I won't pay more for

Sunglasses, because I just lose them

I won't pay more for valet parking......I need the walking anyhow

or

for earrings because I often lose them too.

How about you?  What will you pay a little more for?
and what will not pay more for??

Oh I'm with you - I'll pay more for real maple syrup, good emergency pet care, sock yarn and sometimes fabric. I won't pay more for most groceries, health club memberships, coffee (even though I'm from Seattle and we are the original coffee snobs). g

I'll pay more for loose tea, good coffee (sorry, G), premium dog food, a great dress, quality make-up, a car that will last for 20 years...

I won't pay more for running shoes I can find in last year's colors... well, it seems my list of what I'll pay more for is longer! ;)

I am willing to pay more for the medication my doctor recommends unless he/she tells me the generic is just as good.

I prefer to shop at thrift shops before going to retail stores. So many people donate perfectly good items, and the price is generally reasonable at thrift shops, especially for books, kitchen tools, and clothing.

Hmmmm - I'll pay for a pedicure to treat myself. I'll pay to color my hair because I'm deathly afraid of doing it myself and frying my hair. I'll pay a little more for a fundraiser for things the kiddos are selling. :D

I hear you on the sunglasses, I will pay a little more for really great yarn, life is too short for cheap yarn if you ask me.
Hugs,

Hmmm....this is a hard one. I am pretty much a cheapskate across the boards-but then I did take an early retirement so I would have more time than money and have spent the last 3 years making an art form of spending less.

I, too, will definitely pay more for good hand lotion. I will pay more for cowboy boots.

I will pay less for just about everything else, honestly!14

I will pay a little more for good sock yarn too. I will pay a little more for food . . . the good stuff is worth it.

I will NOT pay more for a manicure. I destroy them within minutes. Sometimes I'll spring for a moderately priced manicure though. Sometimes the pampering of my cuticles and the hand massage is worth it even if I KNOW the polish won't last long.

Hmmm...I'll pay more for a good cup of coffee, lotion, a good pair of shoes that really fit well, and yes...sumptuous yarn!

But, I'm always looking/hoping for a good deal.
I am with you on the maple syrup. I'd add real vanilla to the list as well. Ohhh, and whipping cream. I only buy it about once a year, but I want the real deal when I do! :)

This is such a fun post!
