These darling babies greet visitors to our Infant Special Care Unit.
Another stash buster hat.  This time for a baby.   I'm really motivated to use up my stash.  Next up: Slippers in some deep purple KnitPicks.
This wreath is in the pizza parlor in town.  I love its glizt and glow.  One of our traditions is pizza by the tree.  Al loves Barnaby's pizza and Zach loves all Chicago Pizza.   Fireman and I had a busy day of shopping yesterday so we picked up a pizza for our dinner.
I have a happy Returns Holiday story for you.  Seems the pie bird for my neighbor had broken.   I brought it back to Williams Sonoma and without even showing a receipt, the clerk apologized and switched it for a good one.  No wait, no return slip to fill out, no proof of purchase....just good old fashioned customer service.  We were in and out in a flash.
I found my knitted headband gift from Karen yesterday.
It is a perfect fit.   Have you found your hand knitted hats, mittens, gloves, sweaters for the winter yet???

My basket of Winter knits is by the garage door - year round.

I like to hear stories of good customer service. Spread the word and others may actually get the message that it's important.

It is still in the 80s here. :-( It is hard getting in the Christmas spirit when it's still so warm.

Great photos today. It's chilly here, especially when the sun is hiding. Boots, plaid wool skirt, favorite red leather jacket... it's beginning to feel a bit like Christmas...

Love good customer service stories. I threatened to share my REALLY bad one (Barnes and Noble online) on my blog, but...

L-o-o-o-v-e Chicago pizza!!!! DS#1 sends it to us packed in dry ice for Christmas every year. Can't wait!

Our power went off at 5:30 this morning when it was 29 degrees outside. The high was still only 42 degrees when it finally came back on at 11:30. You can bet I had on ALL my winter knits--hat, gloves, sweater. I thought about the nose warmer but....

I need to knit so many things! It's crazy! Mostly, I need to finish hedgehogs that I'm making for a sale.

Love the headband. So pretty. And the wreath - and the pizza by the tree tradition. Sounds like you are enjoying the holidays. g
