The Lion Lays Down with the Lamb
Last night we witnessed the brothers, Tank and Beatles, snuggling together. This is a first in our house. I had hoped from the start that these young boy cats would be buddies; it took 3 months and a chill in the air , and it is now a reality.
It is the workend and I don't mind a bit. I work with great people. It is fun to return to work and tell them about my trip.
On the knit front, I am finishing the second toe of the grey based socks I've been showing you. The after thought heels will be worked sometime around Tuesday when the workend fatigue has been slept off.
By the way, sweet Katherine sent me a dog tag styled Kitchener tag.
I think I can I think I can I think I can....
I'm wishing you a cozy weekend. What are your plans?

My weekend plans? Laundry and walks. Sissy says it's walk time now, but I need to see if the Knight is coming home for lunch first. He's duty officer this weekend... sigh.
It rained and then snowed last night, so the streets and walks are extremely icy this morning. I'm off to meet some former work buddies at our monthly "coffee." It will be fun to visit wit them again.
Allison: Have fun at your knit in!!! what are you serving?
Channon: glad you liked the kitties together
happy Workend,
Meredith
Hope you have fun in your workend!
Keep knitting and good luck with your sock!

I knew both personalities pretty well before they met this summer. Tank was my daughters cat. BEatles is so so so outgoing , tank is shy. THey are both close in age and both male...
not to mention it is getting COLD here and our chilly house lends itself to wanting to snuggle for warmth sake
Weekend: sewing, sewing, cleaning, sewing, knitting, sewing, cooking, sewing, dog walking and maybe a bit of sewing. g
We got snow last night, and the roads are slick, but I'm going out anyway to a raspberry farm open-house to purchase raspberry salsa, raspberry honey, raspberry, BBQ sauce, and raspberry jam!
