New Week New Start

I -

Started a new hat in fall colors this weekend.  It is going to be a very quick knit up.

Should finish the socks if I can only put my mind to it.  Now will I put my mind to it???  Jury's still out ...

Took care of two Indian babies this weekend who looked the same, weighed the same, had the same glucose numbers and both pulled out their IV's.....thank GOd they had different names.

Went to our local Christmas Craft Fair last week and it was all the same, and still kind of fun.  I had to go without Al and its our TRADITION to go together....a friend went along to ease the sting...it wasn't the same, but it was still good.

Heard from both my kiddos this morning via email...life is good!

What's up with your new week?

I'm hoping to finish a "hitch-hikers" scarf. I've got some piano lessons and voice lessons to give, and on the weekend, I'm traveling 120 miles (one way) to see a college production of "Evita." A good week ahead!

So glad you heard from the boy and girl, and thanks to the friend who substituted for Al on your trip to the Christmas Fair. I'm headed to Lowes for decorations today and can't wait because last week was a whirlwind and I need the time away!!

I love the colors of the new hat!

My feet are cold. I'm not sure that's new, but I thought I'd share. No, I don't have on socks. It was in the 50s when I left the house and was to get up to 66 today, but ... my feet are COLD. Hrmph.

Love the colors in the new knit!

I've been knitting short-cuffed socks from scraps - they are addictive and so cute.

My life is so exciting: this week I plan to knit with friends, attend a music concert, get a haircut.

Working on Christmas gift socks and waiting to see the first snowflake. It's supposed to fall today after a 70 degree weekend. Big temperature change. Have to find my gloves.

I love the colors! I haven't knit a stitch since... probably 5 weeks ago. Oops.

Knitting socks like crazy (Christmas gifts), trying to find my old files uploaded to my NEW computer... frustrating! Housework, customer quilts to be quilted, family medical event happening later in the week... GEE... I wish I had something to do!
