Happy Birthday to ME

 I am pretty sure that no one loves their Birthday more than I.  We were on vacation once, for my birthday, so I had a piece of cake in every state we drove through.   Only once, the year I turned 50, was I very sick and didn't celebrate the day at all.   Otherwise I love the day, my day.   I'm so grateful for my renewed health and my boring, wonderful life.   Grace knitted the above scarf for me and surprised me with it today.  Even Fireman was awed by it.

It will keep me warm all the long chilly winter.  It is way long and way wrappable!! Thank you dear Grace.
 A workend pal brought me a COACH key chain from Vegas.   This was a total surpise, I was unaware she even knew of my birthday.  The coolest thing is it holds two tiny pictures inside.....
hmmm must find tiny images of Al and Zach.....
These are 3 of the 4 squares I'm knitting into a baby blanket.  The wonderful thing for me about
squares is that they are easily fixed.  When I make a mistake, not if but when, I can fix it or rip back quickly and it doesnt feel so bad.   I can knit a pattern for just a bit, get bored, and knit another pattern in the next square.

Back to the birthday:

* My parents gave me a parakeet for my 10th birthday.  I named him Ernie after Ernie banks. He lived to be 14 years old......Ernie was number 14.

*I"ve had two surprise parties in my 52 years.....

*The Persoid (?) meteor shower always occurs during my birthday week.

*Chelsea Clinton and I share a birthday.

*IT is my first  SKYPE birthday!  I opened my gifts from AL last night while we skyped....ahhhh who says technology is a bad thing???

*Seeing Zach on Skype tonight will make my Birthday complete!

*Fireman treats me like a queen on my day!

*I was born in 1960, Kathleen Ann and I was my mother's easiest delivery of 6 kids , and her best baby.  I was her most challenging teen!

I hope my Birthday brings you all a great day!  So for the lottery then, 8,14 6, 0, 5 and 2  (im 52)

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. Insufficient Information

Dear buddy nurse and spay neuter pal Linda, came to visit yesterday.  We knitted. We laughed.  We shared books we are reading. She Showed me her scarf.  It looks like a shawl but it is a scarf. Here is her yarn choice. And the( OUCH) price.   It makes her happy to knit.  If Linda's happy I'm happy.  I dont' know the pattern and neither does she.  Her dog literally shredded her pattern.  She was at a point where she had memorized the easy part and she's nearly finished.  So there you go, anyone know the pattern? You are all so sweet about the move and the house.
