Cheating with a Dog Photo

Doesn't this darling dog look like she's smiling?  I think she is.  I found her on a ordinary walk around my neighborhood.  She didnt get up and bark, she just sat and let me photograph her.  Look at those ears!!!

Dog photos and cat photos on blogs are ever pleasers eh?  I love to see your pets.

I never thought we'd be without a dog.  Never.  Life's funny that way.  The cats are so pleasant and cuddly in our house.  Our long work shifts just don't mesh with a dog's potty needs.   Beatles is as affectionate as a dog.  He cries when I walk to the end of the yard or leave the house.

I must knit him a sweater.  Beatles is leash trained.  If you can call it that.  It took time and patience but he now can walk the backyard on a leash with me.   I imagine him doing it in the snowy winter with a knitted coat on...

I don't think Bea is imagining that...
perhaps the coat God gave him will have to do!

I absolutely think you have to knit Beatles a coat!! I would love to see a photo of him on a leash wearing his coat!

I agree, blogger's pet photos are so much fun. I believe the Husky IS smiling. Our son has two Huskies and they are always smiling!

Yes, Beatles does need a knit coat, but what color would it be?

Your dog looks very happy, and pets are always fun to include in blog posts. If a sweater is too warm for Beatles, maybe a cute hat would do.

Your dog photo made me laugh, but I've been wondering how much lobster it took to get your cat to walk on a leash. The one cat we tried it with would keel over whenever we put it on him. It's hard to walk a animal that's playing dead!

I had rabbits that were leash and litterbox trained. Anything - even a cat in a sweater - is possible!

Beatles in a coat, this I have to see. I know you miss your dog, they just have a way of crawling into your heart and never leaving, even when they are no longer with you. The dog you took the photo of looks so friendly, I love a dog smile.

A cat on a leash is VERY doable - had a cat for 17 years and we took daily walks every night together. Now, a cat in a coat? Nope, don't see that at all. Put a doll dress on my darling Fiona when she was about 12 and she had a mad-on towards me for about two days! lol

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. Dear buddy nurse and spay neuter pal Linda, came to visit yesterday.  We knitted. We laughed.  We shared books we are reading. She Showed me her scarf.  It looks like a shawl but it is a scarf. Here is her yarn choice. And the( OUCH) price.   It makes her happy to knit.  If Linda's happy I'm happy.  I dont' know the pattern and neither does she.  Her dog literally shredded her pattern.  She was at a point where she had memorized the easy part and she's nearly finished.  So there you go, anyone know the pattern? You are all so sweet about the move and the house.
