Endings

My little neighbor is ending the school year today.  Here she is with her gift to her teacher.  Isn't it great?  Apparently they found it at a garage sale, and she brought it home. Her mom, really didn't want it in the house and suggested they give it to the teacher!  I think it is fantastic and a wonderful delightful whimsical flower for the teacher.  What a little Miracle Grow won't do.

As long as we are on the topic:  The Carmelite Sisters have a home very near us. My mother often donated to them and asked them for prayers.  Carmelites take a vow of silence.  Only the Mother Superior talks.  They are not allowed to ask for anything.  God fulfills their needs.  So once, after the Carmelites had prayed for my Mom, I wanted to thank them.  I asked if they needed anything and the Mother Superior said no, nothing.  She said they want for nothing.  So then I asked if they had a garden.  Mother Superior was excited and said yes ! I asked if I could bring them something for the garden, and she chuckled and said, "Miracle Grow!".  The irony still makes me smile. I think I better bring them some Miracle Grow today.....it's been awhile.

So school is ending.  My Life is Good Shawlette should end today too.  My beautiful poppy ended after ONE day of blooming, due to a wind storm.   The Queen's Celebration has ended.  But, my contest has not ended yet.

I am so enjoying reading the blogs you are all sharing with me.  I promise the prize will suit the winner. I am waiting to see who wins to customize the prize package.

I love a happy ending.  DOn't you?

Wow! That flower is almost as big as the girl holding it. I'm sure it will bring quite a smile to the teacher's face.

I love the flower! I wish I could find a dozen of them. I know her teacher will love it too!

It is nice to know that even the miracle workers appreciate a bag of Miracle Grow!

Your little neighbor looks so cute and thrilled to be giving that fun flower to her teacher. We are on the home stretch for school. One child done and one to go.
Hugs,
