I give you more flowers from last week's botanic gardens walk. I also give you the unfinished Life Is Good Shawl in the 10 year old yarn. I could hunker down and finish it today.... but I'd rather cast on a new one in beautiful mixed berry colored Lorna's laces yarn. I cannot give you the baby hat I worked on the past few days as I've dropped a stitch and it was naughty and ran way down the hat....
It was heavenly to only work one night this weekend. Fireman's birthday was good. I was inspired by another TED talk yesterday. Do you Ted Talk? I sure do. This one was by Doris Joyce Kearwin (Gosh I have spelled her name wrong but I m in a hurry and will correct it later.) She is a presidential historian and a wonderful speaker. If you want a great 20 minute listen this morning...google it under TEd Talks. '
Very sad kitten foster news but more on that later. We lost one yesterday and another is so sickly. Hard stuff to watch. But some survive and we must keep trying.

Beautiful colors in that shawl.

Sorry about the fosters. Life has its own ebb and flow, doesn't it? I so admire you for being able to give so freely, even when it hurts.

So sorry about the kitties. Give them lots of love while they are with us!!

Someone sent me The Beauty of Pollination from Ted Talks last week. It was my first encounter with Ted. I look forward to more.

Take heart and be strong about those darling kitties. If it were not for people like you I would not be so blessed by my feline sisters that I adpoted in Dec. 2011. They were living by deserted railroad tracks.....

Very pretty shawl. Hope the little sick kitty is some better now. DKG writes very interesting books! Our woodland heather (bluebells) is blooming now, too; they'd take over here if they could!

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. When I shoot photos of the moon I think of Dear Teresa.  Gone too soon. She took fabulous moon pictures.  2. Insufficient Information

Dear buddy nurse and spay neuter pal Linda, came to visit yesterday.  We knitted. We laughed.  We shared books we are reading. She Showed me her scarf.  It looks like a shawl but it is a scarf. Here is her yarn choice. And the( OUCH) price.   It makes her happy to knit.  If Linda's happy I'm happy.  I dont' know the pattern and neither does she.  Her dog literally shredded her pattern.  She was at a point where she had memorized the easy part and she's nearly finished.  So there you go, anyone know the pattern? You are all so sweet about the move and the house. This morning I got my cuppa joe and headed to the porch to write you.  In the distance, my nearest neighbor, whom I can see through some trees.... well one of their teens came out, stretched, peed on their lawn casually, and then laid in his hammock for 5 minutes.  I'm sure he's not the first boy to do this.  I'm not even sure he's the...
