Prayer Shawl from leftovers no less!

After learning my new friend Regina wanted yarn leftovers for her Prayer Shawl crocheting, I sent her some. In next to no time, she wove the yarns into this warm and lovely prayer shawl. Regina has a knack for color that I lack. I love the shawl and we both know it will wrap around someone's shoulders and make them feel loved. She says she doesn't pray any particular prayer, while she crochets but she does pray for the recipient.

Regina needs some prayers for her someone in her life that is afraid to have a kidney transplant. If you can spare a prayer, would you send one up for Tommy? Thanks.

I'm too happy to sleep. Our Marine is home -- not just back in the USA, but HOME. It hit me on the way home from the firehouse that he's alive, he's safe, he's sound. Blessed be!!

Beautiful shawl. Prayers for Tommy for peace to accept a kidney. My husband had a kidney transplant in 2006. He is doing great. It a blessing that people are willing to donate when they lose a loved one.

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. Dear buddy nurse and spay neuter pal Linda, came to visit yesterday.  We knitted. We laughed.  We shared books we are reading. She Showed me her scarf.  It looks like a shawl but it is a scarf. Here is her yarn choice. And the( OUCH) price.   It makes her happy to knit.  If Linda's happy I'm happy.  I dont' know the pattern and neither does she.  Her dog literally shredded her pattern.  She was at a point where she had memorized the easy part and she's nearly finished.  So there you go, anyone know the pattern? You are all so sweet about the move and the house.
